One day Charlie realized he didn't have a batting glove- he called it a hitting glove. He was desperate enough to use his sisters pink princess glove!

Owen came to play and we stayed up late watching movies.

Adella got invited to a legit princess party. She loved it!

Anna and Elsa came and she thought it was pretty darn cool!

She even got pink chalk in her hair.

They made their own instruments and have decided that turning the frog upside down makes a really good podium.

Marilee does love books, she just isn't really a fan of you reading them to her.

We celebrated Adam's birthday a few days early since I was going to be gone at the end of the week. We went to dinner and then had cheesecake!

Swim lessons finished for the year!

Charlie and Adella had to go play at Grandma's while Marilee was at the dr, they got to go to Brycen and Maryns swim lessons and they of course loved it!

My highlight of the month was going to Jamcon2016! Seriously loved it!

I even rode a mechanical bull, ha!

Our team is so awesome!

And I got to go on the water slide- Ok, not as awesome as I had hoped, but it was fun nonetheless!

New Session of swim lessons! These guys were excited, till we got there and then Adella sorta lost it!

They did like playing in the kiddie pool!

Bad pic, but see, yeah, she was a mess!

We also had dress like a cow day! Nothing like looking silly to get some free food!

They had to go off the diving board. That was not pretty either. Charlie loved it after the first days and wanted to do it himself, but Adella never did like it. At. All

I really should have got a picture when they were in their church clothes, but I wanted to remember this day as the first day they got up and sang in the choir in Sacrament meeting!

Waiting for more visits at the hospital! It's where we like to hang lately!

Marilee LOVES brushing her teeth, only SHE loves brushing her teeth and no one else can help her!

Charlie and Adella got to hang out with Grandma and watch Brycen and Maryn at swim lessons while Marilee went to the doctor. I think they enjoyed themselves!

Summer outside is just so fun! We went swimming and then had dinner outside! Love, love, love eating outside!

Popsicle after playing in the water! After watching Grandma Button lay out on a towel, they insist on doing it too!

They love crafts!

Getting a little messy!

I worked out for a solid month, 6 days a week without missing a day! Whew!

Marilee Pre-op. She had an Endoscopy done to see if anything was keeping her food from digesting fast enough. It's pretty hard to put your kid under anesthesia.

She did great and everything came back normal for the procedure. Still waiting on byopsies.

This girl also hit 16 months! She weighed just 16 lbs at her procedure, but she is growing up! She's starting to stand on her own a bit, is getting curls in the back of her head and loves singing! Her favorite song right now is Popcorn and Sunbeam. At swim lessons they often would say, Ok we are going to sing a song and she would shout SUNBEAM! So cute!

Her favorite things right now are her Pink Hippo and her babies. She says Baby And Hippo very clearly so you always know what she wants! Overall she is really good at communicating what she wants through words or hand motions. Besides baby and hippo, she has lots of other words she'll say the beginning of, but you usually know what she is saying. Her favorite number is 7. No joke. When we count she will often chime in with 6 and 7, but 7 happens more often. She LOVES 7! She likes a lot of words that start with S!

She loves bath, doesn't mind the pool and adores her siblings! She lights up when Daddy comes home and she is learning how to put things 'away'!

We love this little thing!

Grandm and Grandpa took great care of Charlie and Adella while Marilee was in the hospital.

I had a vendor booth.

Marilee 16 months.

Adella less than 6 months.

Fireworks! We practiced before the big day to make sure they could handle it. I loved watching Adella's face!

The price of eggs is CRAZY! I was super glad to have my powdered eggs one night when I wanted something breakfasty for dinner!

More curls!!

We celebrated the 2nd to last day of swim with $.79 slushes!

Playing under the table and making a huge mess, but who cares if they are having fun, not fighting and sorta quiet!

Last day of swim! So proud of these guys! We have a ways to go, but they are so much more comfortable in the water which is what I was hoping for!

Marilee likes to jump in bed with her brother and sister before naps/bed.

First day of Swim Lessons at Deer Valley Pool! They were very excited and very nervous! But I was so proud of them!

Adella swam so hard a few days into lessons that she snapped her piggy holders!

And look! Someone is getting curls!

Yeah. It was HOT! Swim lessons fell in the hottest weeks of the summer so far!

So we celebrated with half price milkshakes.

Two of the 3 were feeling sickly, but this one was A-O-K. So she did what she loved. Puzzles! In any form, she just loves them!

We practiced our new swim skills. Still very timid, but so much improvement! At least they will get in the water now!

Sometimes you just let Sam's club take care of breakfast.

ZOO day! It was so empty now that school was out, but the weather was PERFECT!

We spent some time where we usually don't because of crowds.

And the baby orangutan came out to play!

They made themselves a music stand. I was pretty impressed with this one!

NO ONE wanted to take a nap. But by 5:30, this is what it looked like:

Marilee had a multidisplinary clinic consult this week, actually on June 3, 15 months old!

It was long and lots of questions. Ultimately we left with a plan to hopefully figure out what's going on in that tiny body!

She is a master rocker! She even stands up! Slightly scary, but she is pretty sure of herself!

National Doughnut day! YUMMM!!!

This crazy thing is walking great with the pusher! She can even turn it and back it up when she gets stuck!

I got coupons to get these for free from Influenster! These ones were yummy, they tasted like a snickers!

Birthday started off with a little mini nature hike up to Shaw Butte! (Ok really it started with LaMars)

Apparantly someone forget to turn down the ISO! Whoops!

At home we kept the kids busy with baseball and water play!

Then had a BBQ and finished it off with this delicious ice cream brownie cake that Adam made!

Weather is amazing, so ZOO it is!!! They wanted to get on the frog!

Waters for all, ready to go!

We found a pink Dbacks hat, Adella kinda liked it! May have to watch for Clearance!

Charlie of course had to try one himself too!

We had a picnic!

Charlie wore Arizona's official state tie to church. His 'cowboy' tie!

And he just can't keep away from the ball and glove!

Still taking advantage of amazing weather, and despite the fact that the triple has a flat, we made it out! These kids are getting awesome at riding their bikes!

Three friends, three chairs, three bags of cheese crackers, and one helmet.

Nora rolled all the baseballs outside the fence, Charlie was less than impressed

This is happening and it's awesome! They are learning here how to fold basic stuff - this is a few weeks ago, Adella can now fold almost all of the dish clothes, rags, bibs herself. It rocks my world!

Our tiny thing got sick. Sick, Sick, Sick. Like just dang tired sick.

So sad when they are sick, but I love the snuggles!

We played a beanbag toss game, they had to throw them in the circles, which they 'mostly' colored.

Birthday Tradition! Red Robin! YUMMMMM!!! Even Marilee was pretty happy about it! She had several fries!

Adella of course has to have mac and cheese, Charlie chose fish!

Adam had a business trip this week and I was seriously a slacker at pics. I must have been to tired to even think about it! haha!

We had crazy unusual weather this week and we had to break out the blankets again for our night walks!

On Sunday after church Charlie insisted on eating lunch before his nap (it was well after 2). So I cut up an apple. For some reason them eating the apple was completely adorable to me so I snapped a bunch of pics!

Just because she is adorable!

Marilee knows exactly what we mean when we say it's time to go for a walk!

We made maracas for cinco de mayo! It was a hit!

The big thing of the week was Grandma and Grandpa Heck coming to visit! I was silly and didn't take nearly enough pictures. Seriously, the moment they left I realized it and felt completely awful that we didn't take any great pics of us together and them with the kids.. but I did get pics of donuts!

We took them to the zoo and it was a PERFECT day! They loved finally being able to ride the carousel!

And getting to pet and brush the goats!

This month's stylebox was a FAVORITE!

We also took them to a baseball game, it was a bobble head night and Marilee wasn't about to let go of hers!

My mom bought me birks for my birthday! Love them!

We just had to get churro dogs and they were a hit! Charlie and Adella ate the biggest portion of them and the rest of us got a few bites!

And Mother's day! With Adam having to be at the church early and late, this was the best we could do! But I sure do LOVE these kids!!!

We talked about the ocean this week and I let the kids 'fish' for their snack! We put pb on straws and stuck them in a bowl of goldfish crackers.

I finally got my photo shelf all decorate! I lOVE it!

Marilee started crawling with both arms extended rather than just one! She's lightening fast now!

Charlie wanted oranges.

It's safe to say this was a fun week for the kids! Early in the week we met up with some of our cousins at Mesa Riverview park- it was our first visit! It was so much fun!

Adella has started to really overcome some of her fears, including social anxiety. I get so nervous when I take them to parks that I know will be busy because generally she won't even play. But she is getting so much better! And look at hear leading her cousins up that hill! She was so proud to get to the top!

She even climbed up the rock climbing wall (with some help from Aunt Julie)

At first they wanted nothing to do with the splash pad, but once the cousins were there and we brought out the sand toys that all changed!

There is a super cool zip line and Charlie loved it!

Adella went once and thought that was enough

Charlie though even took a turn standing!

In between all our fun, we dealt with the sickies off and on. It was so strange. They would be totally fine then throw up, and then totally fine again! Adella would be good for 2 days and then throw up again. It lasted about a week and was just the weirdest thing. It didn't' really affect her appetite or stamina. One night I went to check on her though and she just looked so cute, I couldn't resist using the flash on her!

At the end of the week we went to story time at the Childrens museum with Nora and some other friends. So so fun! We got there early so we had lots of the place to ourselves and were among the first in the 'store' which was a favorite! Adella even climbed the treehouse this time (though the 2nd time ended in tears as she couldn't figure out how to get down)

We bought these water floaty things and they insisted we were going swimming. Well we did, but it was SUPER cold!

I took Marilee to the store by herself so she got to ride in the top of the cart for the first time! She loved it and just kept looking around at everything!

We finally wore our Easter dresses, after Easter being on Conference Sunday and then having stayed home due to the Charlie being sick the next Sunday!

And Grandma and Grandpa Button came over for dinner and of course we had to finish the night with the tickle monster book! It seems to be a book reserved for especially when Grandma and Grandpa come over.

Adam won the KTAR bracket challenge! Seriously, out of I don't know how many (I was in the 800's) he won! He was supposed to get chose of WiiU, Xbox One, Play Station but ended up not getting a choice and got an old Xbox 360 Halo Special edition. So we'll probably be selling it since it's not exactly the more family friendly game system we were hoping for! But lucky for us, it's going for a pretty good size on Ebay!

Tired little thing

Went to the Zoo and they said they would walk rather than ride in the stroller. Oh happy day! We got to go see things we normally can't see, including snakes which ended up being Adella's favorite! She also climbed up on the slide which she doesn't usually do!

Almost got her up the Giraffe structure until she saw all the other kids. Maybe next time!

Marilee is trying really hard to get on the frog by herself!

Charlie ended up randomly getting sick. He chose to watch Golf. Silly boy!

We got helmets! These guys were so excited! And they are both getting sooo good at riding!

Marilee prefers to kneel rather than sit, just like Adella!

I tried a letter matching activity with Easter Eggs, it didn't quite go over as I had hoped, but they did have fun!

Adella was in love with play on the go at the library this week. We got to 'plant' flowers so of course she was in heaven!

Marilee refused to nap, and then fell asleep on me.

They enjoyed the splash pad so much more than last year!

Until Adella fell! Whoops!

We are spending lots and lots of time outside and this one doesn't mind at all!

We went for a water play date, I mean look at this thing! So fun! They weren't big fans of the water coming down the slide but had lots of fun just scooping water!

Coloring Easter Eggs! This was their first year doing it since last year was a bit crazy with Marilee. They had lots of fun, Charlie only broke a few eggs.

Adella was quite the hunter. She was crazy excited running all over to find her eggs. Charlie on the other hand thought he needed to open as he went. It's a good thing we had this practice run before going to Grandma & Grandpa's or he would have ended up with nothing!

She was just happy to shake and 'eat' her egg!

Marilee in a dress that my Grandma made for me, on a blanket my Great Grandma crocheted.

While at the park one day, Marilee stole one of Charlie's veggie straws. She actually did quite well with it!

They wanted to ride their bikes all the way home! Charlie made it the whole way, Adella had to take a break for about a block

At the mall, these two were so cute. I loved how they would run off together holding hands. So sweet!

Charlie all of a sudden got super obsessed with leggings. But since he isn't perfect at the potty yet, he went though half a dozen pair in a day. Luckily this obsession only lasted about a day.

We started 'preschool' at home! I really don't know what I am doing, but they are having fun! We started with Letter C for Charlie! We made clouds with cotton balls.

Then cloud snacks with marshmallows, marshmallow fluff and whip cream.

We practiced writing the letter C! Adella was so excited!

We did caterpillar lacing.

And Caterpillar counting.

Adella wanted her picture taken again, and she wanted to be covered in pillows...

The found Charlie's first Halloween costume and decided it was a cat costume. They've been wearing it around looking completely silly.

Charlie and I ran errands together, just him and I! His first order of business was to ensure we got donuts. As we were leaving our first store I told him we had one more store to go to and he said "Oh to get more donuts!"

And Adella and I went to see Cinderella! We had so much fun at her first movie! She insisted on wearing a cute hat and had to have the biggest popcorn there!

Finally, Marilee has a new obsession with hanging upside down. I would pull her up and she would promptly fall back down.

This was a rough week in our house! In some ways I feel like we are stilling playing catch up!

The day after Marilee's bday party, the sickness began. Adella and Marilee woke up within minutes of each other Monday night throwing up. It was sad sad sad. The next day I did a LOT of laundry. And we watched A LOT of movies. Just when we thought it was over, bam it hit Charlie.

Then Adam.... Then eventually me. It wasn't pretty or fun!

Marilee sharing my sick bed. We were just all plain worn out!

Adam stayed home one or two days and came home early the others. We had lots of extra cuddles!

As the week was ending and we started to feel better, well at least Adella did but you can see she is rocking super fun hair- sure sign mom still has no energy! She found a capri sun and when I wouldn't put the straw in for her, she did it herself. I decided if she could figure it out on her own she deserved it! I mean, even I still have a hard time with those!

She loves finding daddy's mask and wearing it and insisted I take a picture.

Of course Charlie wanted in on it too!

And then she wanted a picture of the three of them.

We ended the week at a birthday party. I still felt awful and wanted to leave, but these kids HAD to stick around for cake so there we were, for 3 glorious hours! The only bonus was I didn't have to make dinner!

Adella got her first hair 'trim'! The word 'cut' is not allowed as it terrifies her! So Charlie gets cuts, Adella gets trims!

Charlie had a bit of an accident on the slide. That's what happens after it rains and mom doesn't tell you NOT to go down the slide with water at the bottom!

This is how I shop with 3! It's actually usually quite fun!

I watched a friends kids for a bit and all the kids actually played super awesome together!

Charlie insisted I take a picture of his swing!

And Adella had to follow!

I was checking lighting and such for a mini photoshoot for Marilee's birthday and these kids thought it was their dance floor. Nutty kids!

Charlie and Adella just had to be a part too!

We love our little 1 year old! She is just the best thing! So incredibly sweet and practically perfect! She has her Dr visit this week so we will have official stats then. She is now sitting on her own, pulling up to a standing position and starting to cruise along furniture! She loves songs, books and any toy that she can 'chew' on. Her favorite food is little crunchies! She likes baths and ADORES her brother and sister. They still get the best laughs out of her! She will smile at just about anyway and is just seriously so darn cute we can hardly stand it!

I love my little models!

We had a cake smash party for her on Sunday. The whole cake thing didn't go over super well but darn she looked cute!

We went to play at the park and she fell asleep on the way home. I couldn't bear to wake her so I just sat on the doorstep and stared.

My nails of the week

Marilee took a bath with the big kids - with lots of assistance from daddy! She really loves the bath, so much more than Charlie and Adella did at her age!

Um. So embarrassing.. But really it looked like this because I pulled everything out of the closet to reorganize. The big boxes represent trash, recycling and donating!

I made homemade chocolate chocolate donuts! Baked in our mini donut maker! Surprisingly yummy even if they weren't fried!

Our last Lopes game of the year. Seriously, this guy is a mega fan!

And Marilee thought it was super cool when I put her in the seat by herself!

We are seriously loving our weather right now. It's absolutely perfect pretty much all day long! Our backyard is shaded in the afternoon and a bit breezy, and just seriously perfect! I don't think I can really describe how awesome this time of year is here!

I put Marilee in the trampoline. I'm pretty sure this is the perfect high class pack and play- I mean she is protected from falling out, but it's bigger than a pack and play AND she is off the ground so she can look around more! She approves!

I was feeling the need for more girliness in my life! I used to wear earings but they hurt my ears so I rarely did which meant when I wore them they hurt my ears! I decided I wanted to start wearing them again so I got my ears re-pierced! It was a total whim and spur of the moment. I kinda blame Jamberry, now that I have pretty nails all the time I just feel more girly! I think after having kids and never really being able to dress great because your kids spit on you all the time I just fell into a habit of not always dressing/looking my best! I'm trying baby steps to get back there... now as soon as I can afford new shirts that don't have spit stains....

I made Adella and Marilee valentines dresses. This is fabric I bought in November just waiting for this year! I love it! And I caught some great smiles of the kids before church!

Marilee also enjoys the outside and sat in this swing for a long time as content as can be!

We went to watch Adam play basketball and Charlie was loving it!

Went shopping and could not gt these kids to wake up when we got home. They stayed in the car for a good 45 minutes.
