The book was in excellent condition and arrived time. And this is an excellent edition of Peter Pan.

I started binging on all the books I should have read as a child. This one, I feel, would be best if read TO a child rather than have them read it themselves. Its good storytelling and enjoyable.

I loved the J.M. Barrie's writing in PETER PAN. I chose this edition because it has a corresponding narration, available at Audible.com, with WhisperSync. The story may not be politically correct (parents should probably read it first, before they give it to their children), but the writing is excellent, and of course the story is a classic. The narration by Jim Dale is spectacular.

While talking with adult friends, I releaized my memories of Peter Pan were from the movie, NOT the book. My parents had read it to me when I was young, but I had never read it on my on. I bought it that day and read all of it that day!!! SO GLAD I DID!!!

This may be on the top of one of my favorite children's book list! If you have seen the movie Finding Neverland, then you will know how J. M. Barrie came about with the idea to create my hero, Peter Pan. A must read for anyone....not just children. Barrie does a good job with making you love and hate Hook😆😊and no one can not like Peter...

Except Hook and and his crew of course...

I LOVE Peter Pan so I was excited to see an illustrated ebook of Peter Pan for only 99 cents. I should have known better. I was expecting more than tiny illustrations at the start of each chapter. This book shouldn't be considered an illustrated version, it's like saying the original Harry Potter was illustrated just because it had a tiny picture with each chapter. I'm very disappointed!

The story is more fun than we (as adults) expected. Sardonic and subversive. A very different portrait than the Disney retelling.

The illustrations are very poor. A random collection of (standard Kindle ultra-low-res) greyscale plates from various illustrated editions, one per chapter, in a strange assortment of styles because of their motley origins, and some bearing little connection to the following chapter.

... diese "illustrated" Version des Buches gekauft zu haben. Ich habe jetzt 76% des Buches gelesen und bisher habe ich ca. 10 Bilder gesehen. Kein einziges davon (außer das Cover) haben mir gefallen. Jedes Bild hat einen anderen Stil, sie sind sehr alt und einfach überhaupt nicht "mein Ding". Ich empfehle die kostenlose Version und finde da verpasst man nix...

A great children's classic but also a story that can be enjoyed by adults. A magic story that can be shared in a bedtime story time.

A really easy to read good classic fantasy tale. I would recommend this book to any body. I like the cover too.
