hello world!

i might be switching from blogger to another medium for blogging soon.
cos blogger really sucks. i dunno why but i cant do anything anymore!
i cant upload images i cant change font sizes and colours!
its so irritating! ARGH.

but then again, this blog's got sentimental value, because of all the history in it.
not nice history, but my history nonetheless. even though sometimes i want to forget.. .
anw this is my 578th post, not counting the thousand over(it feels like) i deleted back when i was a rash little kid.
sometimes, we have to learn to be less sentimental.
i dont think sentiment is a bad thing, but too much of it doesn't make it a good thing either.

haha.
my cousin is getting a new macbook, lucky fool.
anyway she'll be selling her ipod, so if there's anyone who wants to buy one, please tell me!
if you tell me before she orders it i think you can even request for free engraving.
and size of ipod.

hello world!

haha this weekend has been pretty awesome!
yesterday i woke up to great news that PEARL LIM H******** passed her driving test!
she's just become my first best friend to know how to drive!
awesome or awesome! i'll hang out with you more now! (or wait a few more months)
and haha i was teasing her that i'd wait for her to drive less impt ppl around for a few months to test drive first, and only take her car if nobody dies at the end of the trial period.
BUT WHO KNEW, LESS THAN 8 HOURS LATER, I WOULD HAVE TO BE ONE OF THE GUINEA PIGS!
eh im your first front seat passenger! look at the great risk i would go to for you,man.
not that i had a choice, right.
your parents just popped the question 'why dont you drive, pearl?'
so who was i to say, 'no i dont trust your daughter!'
hahahaha. to be honest, i wasn't all that nervous until i realised that the driver was.
haha. but i must say, pearl is one steady driver.
she had the lives of five ppl in her puny lil hands that evening, including that of a very young little boy whose life has just begun!
i applaud you, pearl! awesome!

anyway so we met up to watch harry potter!
and i dont think it was as bad as some ppl described.
maybe cos i went in with zero expectations for anything.
haha, but i feel that that stupid harry potter's acting improved alot.
and i felt that the movie was kinda easy to understand, even for those who didnt read the books.
and i still think malfoy is kinda cute. well BETTER LOOKING THAN THAT DANIEL GUY ANYWAY.
and ron is still as funny.
and i really love the castle. its awesome.
and actually, cormac mclaggen was kinda hot too hahahahahahaha.
and that tom riddle guy had pretty eyes.
lol. ok so maybe i wasn fully concentrating on the movie after all haha.
STILL. grand cathay is awesome.
just wondering, where all those little secondary school kiddos find the time to watch movies!
why were there so many little people loitering ard in malls!
dont they have studying to do?!?!?!?!
and we saw a bunch of ahs students, and concluded that they mustve ponned ccas to come watch.
haiyo.

anyway! so pearl and i went to her house to pick up some gifts for the airens
and her parents offered to drive us to 85.
and dunno why, they suddenly suggested to let her drive! omg my heart nearly stopped when they said that.
and so we drove to 85! wah this must be one of my life's milestones.
really felt like my life was hanging on a thread.
and then met up with whats left of 2j, haha but we had a lot of fun reminiscing, all the caitou nonsense and stuff.
and then wheeee. went home.
where i couldn sleep because i ate a green tea ah balling tang yuan.
i think im caffeine intolerant or sth.
lol. couldn sleep til 3,4am.
ARGH.

and today i met up with my dear old trumpeys! haha.
this is our first section outing since 2006. or 5, really.
its funny how everyone's changed, but still the same.
like, change in height size blah, but really, we're really still all the same.
and we played at mind cafe at safra!
haha at first we were like kinda irritated by the stupid vj-ers screaming, and then we started to compete to see if we could be louder, and ended up shouting as loudly as them while playing our games.haha.
my sore throat is now back because of snorta.
i dont understand why, all we had to do was snort and meow but its really taxing on the throat!

haha also had fun reminiscing about the past, syf etc.
i really missed jiahua. haha.
remember the last year when we were the last sane ones left in the section.
or the last ones pretending to still be sane.
and we realised that we all seemed to have lower IQs, and slower reactions.
haha. omg. we're old.

its 9pm, im tired.
so i shall go to sleep.
yay.

just finished my hk drama today~
hahahaha. omg i must sound like a hk drama addict now.
im not ok. i got control one.
i dont watch til like 4am in the morning like some ppl.haha.
anw my stupid sister spoilt this show for me!
why do ppl keep doing that now! its very irritating!

so anw this show im watching has two sequels following it.
and in this one, mr hottie MICHAEL MIU KAR WAI is a good, law-abiding police instructor.
and i watched abit of the third in the series sequel, and his role became that of mr baddie of the gangstas.
lol. and i was just asking my sister ytd in the living room over some tv, whether the sequels are linked, and why would 李sir turn so bad?
and she was like 'dont you know? 李sir died what' and she sorta realised what she's done and said 'oops'.
OMG. she told me the ending of my drama! i almost killed her for that. and my mother, who's watched all hk dramas ever made, just laughed.
sigh. and after that, it was like i was watching a dead man acting in a drama. its so sad.
i hate spoilers.
i swear, the next person to spoil anything for me is really dead meat.

here's mr hottie!
he may be old, but sometimes, i find older men more charming. he really is charming isnt he? haha.

(for some reason i cant post photos, blogger got problem i think. urgh. )

anw my mom's told me, that she'd like me to find a boyfriend who's like 4 years older or sth.
i cant believe it.
my mom approves of older men.

hello world!

yesterday was awesome!
because i got to see my favourite aunt and uncle after a very long period of three-four years!
and also my two beloved little cousins. awww.
how theyve grown. it wont be long now before they grow to be taller than me.
really cant express how happy i am, to see BobbyUncle and HorHorAhYi after so long.
i remember i used to stay over for long periods of time at their house to sorta babysit my little cousins. to put it nicely would be to say i was babysitting.
haha but in truth, i was really just enjoying myself and throwing all maturity that i had to the winds and getting childishly on my knees to play with them.
and night time would come, and we'd have dinner together, and if BobbyUncle comes home early for dinner he'd open a bottle of wine and all his wine are awesome!

i still remember when i was ten, and my mom and i went to Adelaide, Australia together with their family. BobbyUncle was there mainly for wine-testing, and that was where i learned to drink wine! we'd go to a vineyard, and while he was testing i would hide under the table and he'd slip me the glass while the staff wasn't looking. sometimes the staff were nice and just let me drink.
and every night we'd eat at a chinese restaurant (cos my mom doesn eat western, wth) and we'd order sizzling beef(oh that was where i learned to like beef too!) and he'd open a bottle of wine, and sometimes two, one red and one white, cos white was my favourite :)
and after we reached the hotel and had nothing better to do, cos for some odd reason the aussies close shop at like FRIGGIN 5PM, he'd open another bottle and i'll join him in the balcony for a glass :)

so yesterday we went to pass some tau sa pia from bangkok to them, but BobbyUncle had left shortly beforehand to play golf. awww.
and we did loads of catching up, and forgot the time, and just when we were about to leave, in comes my favourite uncle! :)
haha and up he went to his cellar, and appeared with a bottle of wine!
and proceeded to pour me two glasses :)
and as usual my mom decided not to finish hers and let me have it instead. AWESOME.

and it was all awesome, primarily because i got to see my favourite aunt and uncle, and not-so-little cousins. the wine was just secondary. REALLY. even without the wine i would have been elated just to get to see them!
the people who looked after me during the holidays when my mother was busy working and supporting the family, the people who, time and again offered help to us, and all that.
who looked after us as though we were their own when they still haven't had Brennan and Claudia.

i love em.
happy happy :)

oh and im trying to make sorbet now.
Sorbet Experiment 1 is cooling down before i put it into the fridge.
lets see how it turns out.

lol my mom saw and asked whether i'd put any vodka in it.
OMG WHY IS MY WHOLE FAMILY ADDICTED TO ALCOHOL.

hello world!

im back from bangkok! alive! and in one piece!

the trip was awesome!

lots of shopping, though i didnt buy much for myself, im not a shopper, but
i really enjoyed spending time with ppl i value in my life.
its like, we haven't really gotten to spend time with each other for very long,
and finally there was an opportunity to sorta like, catch up.
get to know them again.

and on this trip, i learned.
that there is nothing wrong with laughing.
with having fun.
that there's more than one way to be there for someone.
i have been stupid, maybe.
ignorant. stubborn.
i learned, really, alot.
i learned that i really cant love any group of people who're not related to me more than the airens.
theyve somehow just become, in every essence of the phrase, a part of me.
and i thank God for them. every night.

awesome trip. so sad caho and jac couldn be there.
but dont worry, in the fifty years to come, we'll have plenty of chances.
make plenty of trips, have plenty of HTHTs.
because we'll always be there for each other.
and there is nothing wrong with laughing.

AWESOME!
ive never laughed so much on a trip. ha.
laughing is good.
trains your muscles.
laugh more! :)

i also learned that
deep down, im still the disgusting, pathetic, irksome, selfish, foul creature ive always been.
i am ashamed.
and embarrassed.

i gave my all and expected the same in return.
and i forgot to take into account what you wanted, or whether you were happy.
i assumed, i accused.
and it is ok that i hurt, because i deserve it.
thats why i said i was sorry.
