Billy Bragg
“Seems like ages since these albums were available in their original format, but I’m excited to share that Brewing Up With Billy Bragg, Talking With The Taxman About Poetry, and Workers Playtime are all returning on limited edition vinyl and CD on November 6th in the UK and Europe, and 27th November in North America and Australia.
John Webber over at Air Studios remastered all three straight from the original high-res master tape transfers in my archive, and we’ve packaged them in gatefold sleeves. We’re also doing a limited run of coloured vinyl for each album while supplies last.
Thanks as always for the continued support. Hope you enjoy hearing these songs fresh off the needle again.Ā

“The frustration of seeing nothing that spoke to me on Top Of The Pops in the early 80’s made me realise if I wanted to hear music that had something to say about the state of the world and real life, I’d have to make it myself. 18 months later I recorded my first LP. To mark the 40th anniversary of Life’s A Riot with Spy vs Spy, I’ve compiled a number of commemorative releases that trace the arc of my career since those fateful Thursday nights.” Billy Bragg
