This is how it works
You're young until you're not
You love until you don't
You try until you can't
You laugh until you cry
You cry until you laugh
And everyone must breathe
Until their dying breath

This is how it works
You peer inside yourself
You take the things you like
And try to love the things you took
And then you take that love you made
And stick it into some--
Someone else's heart
Pumping someone else's blood

And walking arm in arm
You hope it don't get harmed
But even if it does
You'll just do it all again

Take it from Kanye( or was it Daft Punk?)

Work harder at school.

Make relationships better.

Do unfinished work/business faster, ie less time to procrastinate.

be stronger, physically and mentally.

Harder.Better.Faster.Stronger.

allow me to wallow in self pity for the next 10 minutes as i typed this out.

I guess my school tried to extenuate this "robbery" of the Yuletide spirit by extending our summer break. But it's kind of like the Grinch giving you a mega huge present in the summer, then come Christmas eve, snatches it from you, leaving you empty handed on Christmas morning. WELL PLAYED, YOG. Well played.

Somehow, i'm freaking out more for this exams. I guess it's the amount of workload for bio plus the back-to-back assignment deadlines. Thank goodness it's all over but then comes the studying, cramming 13 weeks of content into 2 weeks. Keeping up with the readings and the early revision helped but i'm starting to feel a little drained.

i can't wait for the 11.30am on the 23rd. Where is that time machine, Santa?

She wasn’t bitter. She was sad, though. But it was a hopeful kind of sad. The kind of sad that just takes time.

I wish i could say love was like a Taylor Swift song, but it's not.
It's hard, because when you love someone, expectations build up and when they're not met, you get upset. That doesn't mean they love you any less though.

I guess the question we have to ask ourselves is ,` Is he/she worth it?' Because if there's any doubt( and by doubt, i don't mean wild thoughts of different permutations of hypothetical situations in your head), then he/she's not worth it.

I've seen so many of my friends burned/hurt by love. It scares me terribly, because now i understand what it's like to be vulnerable and putting yourself out there for that one person. And for a pessimist like me, it doesn't help with all my wild thoughts plus over-thinking/over-analyzing words or actions.

But i guess it all stems down to one thing: Just living for the now, the best that you can. Because whatever you do now, are steps in shaping your future.

From tumblr:

Psychological fact: emotional pain lasts for 12 mins. Anything longer than that is self-inflicted.

Using my sucky Math skills, it means that i should only be sad for about 15 mins, and spend the remaining 1428 minutes loving life, and living it.

You should too.
