Upcoming readings with Karen Head
I'll be joining fellow poet and bestie Karen Head for two readings to close out the year. The first is on Saturday, September 26, at 6 p.m. at The Book Tavern in Augusta, GA, while the second is slated for Wednesday, Dec. 2, at 7 p.m. at Word of Mouth at The Globe in Athens, GA. We'll be doing our "Call & Response" program, reading our work round-robin style, selecting poems on the fly to find common themes, moods, and imagery. It’s a fun, experimental, and unexpected evening of poetry because the audience–and the poets–aren’t sure what’s coming next. We hope to see you!
