EvilTale II ~ Part 8 Part 8: History told, His Identity Revealed
~DuskCrescent~
They came into a beautiful city sheltered from the sun. The rays of the sun are soften by the leaves from tall trees.
Vincenzo: “Come. Follow me.” He led them to a mansion.
Butler: “Welcome back Master Vincenzo.”
Vincenzo whispered to Butler. “Ms Sarina is our last Royalty. These are her friends.”
Butler: “Yes I understand master Vincenzo. I will make them at home and inform the elder on her arrival.”
``````````````````````````````````````````````````````` ~In the Mansion~
The butler led them to a room.
Butler: “There will be a common area inside and on the left the rooms are for the ladies while on the right the rooms are for the gentlemen. The common area has a wine bar, fireplace and dining area. All meals will be served in the common area’s dining place. I believe you can find all that you need inside, if there is anything you need just give me a ring on the phone.”
Walter: “Thank you.”
Butler: “If there is no other question, I shall take my leave.”
Elder: “So you are Sarina, the chosen child to have our Crescent’s blood within you.”
Sarina: “Yes.”
Elder: “Vincenzo, gather all the other special vampires to the hall tomorrow morning. I have something important to tell everyone.”
Vincenzo: “Yes, elder.”

All the special vampires have gathered in the hall.
“I heard the last royalty is here.”
“Vincenzo found her.”
“I wonder how she looks.”
Vincenzo walked to the middle of the hall, the elder is behind him.
Vincenzo: “Silent.”
`````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` Elder: “Everyone please remain calm. Today will be the day the truth will be told. Listen to me carefully. History will once again change for the Crescent.”
“I believe all of you know about the vampire hunters, our werewolves neighbor and the barbaric vampires from SavageCrescent. In the past, vampire hunters and barbaric vampires do not exist. The vampire hunters were humans with good reflexes. The barbaric vampires stayed with us in a place called Crescent. They were once like us normal vampires that agreed not to hunt humans for their blood. The humans, werewolf and vampires live close together in peace.”
“All of you who are able to walk in the day are special, carrying five different Royal blood of crescent.”
“There were a total of eight Royal families in Crescent, each having their own strength of normal vampires. There was one Royal vampire in Crescent who disobeyed and has been hunting humans for their blood. One day he decided to come out of hiding. Over dinner, he secretly changed the blood saying that it’s his treat. Not knowing its human blood, they started to comment of its unique taste and flavor. He proudly announces that its human blood, three agreed to continue hunting human for their blood while the remaining five disagreed.”

“A war broke out between the humans and the vampires. To their surprise the humans have been training a group of hunters to kill vampires and werewolves. Both humans and vampires asked the werewolves to assist them in the war. However, the werewolves declined both parties. They could not trust either of them. The humans have secret of hunters who are able to kill werewolves while the vampires have broken their promise to maintain peace.”
“The war become out of hand. Humans have all become hunters and vampires have become barbaric. The werewolves and the five royal families decided to leave. They found a new place and settled down. They call the new home DuskCrescent while the barbaric vampire have rename Crescent to SavageCrescent. Unfortunately, hunters and barbaric vampires continue to haunt them. To hunters we are vampires and to barbaric vampires we are traitors, they kill us on sight.”
“Your parents, the five royal families of vampires together with the werewolves fought to protect you. Unfortunately, something else threatens the survival of you, their young ones. A strong soul from the dead filled with darkness will raise and you will most probably be controlled under his shadows. They do not want that to fall upon you.”

“They wanted to combine all their power into one, there is a way but all will be sacrificed. The saberians, a hidden clan, only few will know was able to transfer soul onto them and live in another person. Even if that person dies, their new born will bear that soul and therefore live forever. However, only one soul can be transfer onto a saberian.”
“They needed a special saberian. This girl bears a special soul in her. King Arturia of the human world has been living in her family soul for a long time and has been protecting EtherTale from harm. A new born with King Arturia’s soul in her was taken to DuskCrescent. She was transformed from pure saberian to vampire saberian. Ten souls of the royal vampires were transferred into her and sealed. In order to prevent her to land in the wrong hands, she was sent back to EtherTale for protection. If that shadow were to appear, a knight from DuskCrescent shall bring her back. The seal shall be removed and she shall eliminate that shadow.”
“With your parents gone, we the normal vampires who serve them have pledge to protect you from all harm. We let you believe that you are special to be able to walk in the day and not because you are from the royalty. When news broke out that DuskCrescent doesn’t have any royal vampires, barbaric vampires from SavageCrescent stopped attacking. With them having no interest with us, they stay at their own ground and hunters were not brought near us anymore. Peace was regained.”

“We have been blessed with peaceful days and having werewolves as friends. As you know there were rumors of us bringing back a last royalty. It is no rumor, she is here. All your parents’ soul and blood flows within her and she shall be unsealed tonight. That shadow that your parents fear of has appeared. Now with them unsealed within her, they shall protect you from the shadow.”
“Since you already know the truth of being the royalty of crescent, there is a leader in Crescent who led Crescent in peace. They are the Destiny. Mr and Mrs Destiny were the ones that form a contract with werewolves and humans to remain peaceful. They disagreed to the hunting of humans and led the other four royalties to DuskCrescent. They made the decision to sacrifice themselves to bring peace to you once again. Vincenzo Destiny is their offspring, our leader to continue leading DuskCrescent in peace.”
“If you have any objections do speak now or never. Questions are welcome. I will answer them now.”

They are confused by what was told. Some remained silent while some started discussing.
“Vincenzo as our leader? We do respect him but why do we need a leader? Can’t we just listen to the elder?”
“The elder is just a normal vampire? We are the royalty? Are we suppose to regain Crescent?”
“Having one of us as leader should be good. I think Vincenzo fits perfectly.”
Vincenzo: “Elder, may I speak.”
Elder: “You want me to let them have a few days to consider. There is no time for that and they are old enough to make decision.”
Vincenzo: “Understood.”
Elder: “Times up. Speak now.”

A few of them stood up.
First question: “Wanting us to have a leader for the royalties, does this mean we are going to regain Crescent? Aren’t they going to attack if they know we are the royalties?”
Elder: “Vincenzo, please answer him.”
Vincenzo remain calm and answered. “No. I will not want them to attack us. Our parents had done too much to grant us this peace that we have. I will not let it go to waste. We shall remain as special vampires.”
Second question: “This girl carries all our blood and parents’ soul. Shouldn’t she be our leader?”
Elder: “She is a saberian. Other than royal vampire blood, there’s saberian blood within her. King Arturia is a human. Other than royal vampire soul, there’s a human soul within her. She is not a pure crescent therefore she is not the right fit to be our leader.”
Elder: “Very well, it’s my turn to ask. Who do you want to be your leader?”
Two of them stood up. “We suggest Luna.” “We suggest Grey.”
Luna stood up. “I refuse. I will vote for Vincenzo as leader.”
Grey stood up. “I shall accept.”
Elder: “Anymore? If not, cast your vote now. Those who votes for Vincenzo shall stand while for Grey shall sit. You have ten minutes.”
Luna stood up. Her group of royal vampires stood up with her.
Elder: “You left five minutes.”
Another group of royal vampires, the Ember, stood up. It’s now two votes to Grey and two votes to Vincenzo.
Elder: “One minute left. Those who stood up can choose to sit again.”
Another group of royal vampires, the Ash, stood up.
At the same time, Grey stood up with them. One of his supporters asked: “Grey? What are you doing?”
Grey: “I agreed to participate but I can vote too right?”
His group of royal vampires stood up.
Elder: “Therefore, the leader of DuskCrescent shall be the Destiny once again.”

EvilTale II ~ Part 7 Part 7: Her birth, Misunderstood Love
Alek: “What?! You serious! You want me to drive to that cold blooded creature’s nest?! NO WAY!”
Walter: “Just do it.”
Alek: “No. Find another person to bring you there.”
He left the driver seat and proceeded to find Eleni.
Walter: “Thaddeus, do you know how this thing works?”
Thaddeus: “I have never driven this but I guess it should be similar to those I drove in SunnyParadize.”
Vincenzo: “I’ll do it.”
Thaddeus: “Oh Vin, great you lead the way. You must be glad that you’re going home.”
Vincenzo didn’t reply and started driving.
Thaddeus: “Hmm… So I guess I’m not needed here.” *Looks at Walter and they left.*
`````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` ~Back of the Vehicle~
Walter: “You have never come across this vehicle before? It is given to us by your village chief.”
Thaddeus: “Well, I think it belongs to him. He always tells us stories of his adventures on his Silver but none of us have ever seen it before.”
Eleni: “What a cool name! Hi Sliver! Thank you to having us Silver!” *Hopping around*
*A great impact was felt on top of Sliver.*
Priya: “Vin, is there shadows again?”
Vincenzo: “No, they are not shadows. They are vampires from SavageCrescent.”
Sarina: “Should we fight them?”
Vincenzo: “No. Hunters will kill them.”
Priya: “Hunters?”
Sarina: “I think he meant vampire hunters. Look!” *Points out of the window*
They saw a human surrounded by three vampires.
Sarina: “Shouldn’t we help?”
Priya: “She is out numbered.”
Vincenzo: “It’s best to stay out of the fight. Hunters will kill any vampire on sight, they do not care whether you are from SavageCrescent or not.”
One of the vampires attacked and the hunter was pushed to the ground.
Sarina: “I have to help her.”
Vincenzo: “Sarina!”
Vincenzo stopped the vehicle and chased after Sarina who has went in front of the hunter to protect her from the vampires.
Sarina (Arturia): “It’s always good to be back. So what do we have here? Bloody, pale skin, sharp teeth, smells bad and scary eyes. I don’t remember vampires hunting humans.”
Vincenzo: “They are barbaric vampires that kill humans for blood.”
One of them jumps towards Vincenzo and attacked him with claw like fingers. Vincenzo avoid it and shot its head. The barbaric vampire fell to the ground.
The other two started to attack Sarina (Arturia). She took out her spear and slashed their heads off.
Sarina (Arturia): “Did I do it right?”
Vincenzo: “Yes, they will only stop attacking once their head is gone. We need to burn them.”
Sarina (Arturia): “Alright, I’ll leave the rest to you. Sarina will be back.”
Sarina fell to the ground beside the hunter.
Hunter: “What is she…”
Vincenzo: “Get away from her.”
Hunter: “I’ll be back to kill the other vampires including you!”
Vincenzo shot on the ground in front of her which makes her moved backwards. He continues to shoots at her until she has a safe distance from Sarina. He carried Sarina back to Silver. The hunter kept her eyes lock onto them as they left.
Priya: "I think it’s the right time to tell you now."
Sarina: "Erm... sure. Go ahead. I'm listening."
Priya: "Vincenzo came to EtherTale to look for..."
Her words were cut by Sarina: "That I know. But he didn't manage to find..."
Priya cut her off and said: "No! He came and he already found the last Royalty."
Sarina: "Oh. So who is that? Hmm.. Walter? Alek? Eleni?... Oh! I know!! It’s you! Why didn't I realize. I'm sorry Priya."
Priya: "No. It’s not me."
Sarina: "Huh? Then? Don't tell me Thad is the one... haha XD"
Priya: "It’s you."
Sarina: "Me?"
Priya: "Yes. My dad told me about it before we left EtherTale. He told me that you are the one chosen by the Cresent to be their child."
Sarina: "But... why me?"
Priya: "They know they are in danger. They needed someone who already has special ability to be combined with theirs. This is the plan to eliminate whatever is endangering them."
Sarina: "...I was born with King Arturia within me.”
Priya: "Yes. That’s the reason you are chosen. They took you away when you were born and transform you from human to vampire with their Royal blood. You have the most powerful blood of the vampire flowing inside you. This is the reason why you are the only Saber so far who can summon King Art so easily."
Sarina: "But why am I in EtherTale?"
Priya: "They need you to be safe. You were sent back to EtherTale for protection. One day when help is needed, they will summon a Knight to EtherTale to find you. And that Knight is Vincenzo."
Sarina: "He Has been protecting me..."
Priya: "Yes, that’s his mission. To protect the last Royalty of his kind and bring her back to DuskCrescent."
Sarina: "But I don't feel like a vampire.."
Priya cut in: "You do. Your red eyes and hair. However, your full potential of becoming a royal vampire has not been unleashed. To unseal it, you need to return to DuskCrescent."
Something else was in Sarina's mind. Her heart was bleeding from the thought of Vincenzo protecting her so far. She looked at Vincenzo who is beside the camp fire and then looked away. She sighed.
A voice from inside of her came and said: "You thought you were special to him. But the truth is he is only doing his duty to protect the last Royalty of his kind."
Sarina whispered back to herself: "Stop. I don't wanna hear it."
"Priya, thank you. I know exactly what I should do now when we've reached DuskCrescent. Now, let’s head back to camp and rest."

EvilTale II ~ Part 6 Part 6: Angels meets Devils, the Forbidden Touch
Axel: “Oh what’s this? Are we suppose to go into it and it brings us to places?”
Thaddeus: “Erm… yes.”
Axel: “Nice! Hey Eleni, are you feeling better now?”
Eleni is hopping around with a big smile on her face. “YES! I’M VERY HAPPY!”
Alek: “Come on, we need to move.”
All of them got onto the vehicle and Alek starts to drive.
Walter: “Axel, we will be going to meet the devils. Do you want to stay on the vehicle or…”
Axel cuts in and said: “No worries Walter, I will go meet them.”
Walter: “But… if you know where they are, for sure you cannot return to HolyDivine.”
Axel: “Walter, I’m not going back.”
Walter: “Looks like you have made up your mind. I’ll not question further.”
Axel: “Thanks pal.”
The vehicle stopped suddenly.
Priya: “It’s another shadow monster! I’m too tired to fight them due to those intensive training.”
Walter: “Stay here with me. Axel is strong, he can handle them. Alek let them off and keep a distance from the shadows.”
Vincenzo: “Sarina, stay here.”
Sarina: “Huh?! Wait, Vin!”
Vincenzo got off the vehicle, Axel and Thaddeus followed. Alek turned the vehicle around and away from the shadows.
Axel cut down the shadows one by one with his axe. Thaddeus tried slashing them with his new holy sword. The damage is effective against the shadows. Vincenzo is shooting them down. After a few minutes, all the shadows are defeated.
Thaddeus: “That’s easy, too easy.”
Those shadows on the ground started to move they got off the ground and started attacking them. This time, they became harder to defeat.
Axel: “What’s going on?”
They crushed the shadows some disappeared while some remained lifeless on the ground.
Thaddeus: “Should we run before they come back alive?”
Axel: “Let’s go.”
Vincenzo: “Don’t move.”
As expected, shadows on the ground came back alive and they have combine into a larger shadow.
Axel: “Let’s attack together to wipe it out.”
Thaddeus: “What’s your plan?”
Axel: “Vin’s shot always opens up a hole on the shadows, Thad use your sword to slash that hole bigger and I will jump into the opening to finish it off.”
Vincenzo concentrated and shot a few red rays from his gun once it touches the shadow they exploded creating a large opening at the head of the shadow. Thaddeus jumps up and slashed the shadow from head to toe nearly turning the shadow in half.
Axel went into the opening and shouted: “Axe of Angels” Thousands of Axes spawned from his axe and chopped the shadow down to the last of it.
Thaddeus: “Great team work!”
Axel: “Yea, thanks for believing in me to finish it off. It’s unexpected that Vincenzo will team up with us…” He stopped when he realize Vincenzo is gone from the scene.
Thaddeus: *Haha* “You will get use to it. Come let’s move before more shadows shows up.”
Thaddeus: “Previously, they will just die after being defeated once but today after defeating them, they came back to live. Not just that, they got stronger as well.”
Axel: “If they don’t disappear, they can keep coming back to live.”
Eleni: “EWWWW!”
Priya: “This is bad we need a few days to reach NoxiousVile. I hope we can avoid those shadows.”
Alek: “Don’t worry I know a secret path to NoxiousVile.”
Sarina: “Are we reaching soon? We will be out of food supplies soon.”
Eleni: “No worries! We can eat you! YUMMY!! Juicy Sarina!”
Sarina: “No! I taste bad.”
Eleni: “Then let’s eat PRIYA!!”
Priya: *Haha* “Sure, I’m delicious.”
Eleni: “YEAH!!” *Faking her bites all over Priya*
The vehicle stopped.
Alek: “Get out and follow me.”
They found themselves in the forest beside the waterfall. Alek walked behind the waterfall and came to a dead end. He proceeded into the rocked wall in front of him.
Sarina: “Are we supposed to walk through that wall? I doubt I can do that.”
Eleni: “Let me try!” *Runs towards the wall and disappeared.*
Priya: “Don’t worry, come hold my hand...”
But before she can finish her sentence, Vincenzo has already grabbed Sarina’s hand and proceeded into the wall.
Walter: “I’ll do it on behalf of Sarina.”
He holds Priya’s hand and walked towards the rock wall. Axel and Thaddeus followed.
Alek: “Ya, it’s me. I need a ride to bring my friends to meet the King.”
Guard: “How many of them? I’ll get the ride ready.”
Alek: “Eight, make it ten cos there’s some people I don’t wish to travel with.”
Guard: “Ha! You are still the same, hard to get along.”
Alek: “Whatever, be quick.”
They got onto five different cabins, Walter with Axel, Sarina with Priya, Eleni with Alek, Vincenzo and Thaddeus alone. The ride proceeded into an endless tunnel, going deeper and deeper underground. After a few hours, finally they saw light at the end of the tunnel and the ride came to a stop.
An underground emperor lit with candles light dancing towards the joyful atmosphere. Although its darker compared to HolyDivine but its beauty is on par.
Axel: “It’s beautiful. It’s totally different from how I imagine.”
A young lady: “Glad to know that an angel likes our home.”
Axel: “Hi there! I’m Axel, nice to meet you.”
Young lady: “Nice to meet you too. I’m Dayanara. I, on behalf of everyone, welcome all of you to NoxiousVile. Hey Alek, I’m surprise you’re still alive.”
Alek: “Go away D. I’m here for the king, get us there already.”
Dayanara: “You forgot to say please.”
Alek rolled his eyes and walks off. Eleni stick her tongue out at Dayanara and follows Alek.
Walter: “So you’re the “D” he often talks about. Is he leading the right way?”
Dayanara: “Nope, he is probably going to re-stock as that direction leads to the shops.”
Walter: “Pleas..”
Dayanara cuts him off and said: “You don’t have to say please, I’ll lead you to the king.”
Dayanara lead them to the center of NoxiousVile. A house which seems seperated from all other tall buidings is in front of them.
Priya: “The king lives here?”
Sarina: “Maybe it’s just like the rocked wall. When you go in, it becomes something else.”
Dayanara: “Sorry to disappoint you but yes he lives here.” She turned and shouted “DAD!!”
Priya: “The king is your dad?!”
Dayanara: “Yup.”
The king hopping towards Dayanara with a half eaten muffin in his hand. “Yes dear”
Dayanara: “We have visitors. Alek bought them here.”
King: “Where’s Alek then?” *Started circling Dayanara* “Did you ate him? I baked muffins you should tell me you’re hungry.”
Dayanara: “Dad.”
King: “Fine. Come make yourself at home and help yourself with the muffins.”
*Yawns* “What’s all the noises?”
Dayanara: “Oh Mom, we got visitors. I think you will be happy to see one of them.”
Queen: “Why’s that?...” *Looks around and saw Axel.* “Oh my, are you an angel. It’s been so long since we have an angel in NoxiousVile. How are the angels doing?”
Axel: “We are good. Thanks for asking.”
Queen: “Oh what a sweet boy. Dear do you like this boy?”
Dayanara: “Mom.”
Queen: “Fine. I’ll talk to you again, boy.”
The king came back with two plates full of muffins. He sat down beside his queen.
King: “Come, try my muffins.”
Queen: “Oh this taste good! Your bakery has improved! What you going to try next?”
King: “I shall bake chocolate lava cake!”
Queen: “Oh, that’s dear’s favorite.”
Dayanara: *Sigh* “Dad, they are here for a reeeaassonnnn. Shouldn’t you hear them out?”
King: “Oh, you’re right. So what brings this lovely bunch of people to NoxiousVile?”
Walter: “May I request to talk to you alone?”
King: “Oh, this sounds serious. Come with me to the kitchen.”
The king search around the room, going up and down.
King: “This is bad it’s been so long that I can’t remember where I place it.”
Walter: “What are you looking for?”
King: “My crystal ball. I can use it to help see who your master saw but I can’t find it.”
Walter looked around and paused. “Is that your crystal ball?” He points to the fish tank.
The king looked at his fish bowl and laughed. *Hahaha* “You have good eye sight! I’m old, my eyes are bad.” He took the crystal ball out of the fish tank. “Let’s see what your master saw.”
The king started chanting, images appeared in the crystal ball. “Here ask the question.”
Walter took a deep breath: “Who are they trying to revive from the dead?”
The images was switched to a similar scene describe by Walter’s master. The face of the dead body appeared. Walter looked away.
King: “What’s wrong? Let me see.” The king looks into the crystal ball and saw Alek’s great grandfather. Out of shock, he moved backwards which accidentally knock over the vase behind him. “No, this can’t be. If he comes back, he will bring harm to Alek and the world. I cannot let Alek be in danger.”
Walter: “My master’s prediction was right. It is Alok that they are trying to revive from the dead.”
King: “Your master allows an Angel to join you, we shall do the same a devil will join you.”
Walter: “Thank you. Will the devil be forbidden to return like the angel?”
King: “Unfortunately, yes. It was agreed between both Angel and Devil to never leave our new found home.”
Walter: “New home?”
King: “Yes, we use to stay near to each other in harmony. We have the negative aura while they have the positive. The attraction is strong most of us fell in love. *Sigh* A lot of the mothers have die due to tough pregnancy and birth. It was hard to bear a child of the opposite aura. We decided to have this agreement to stay apart of each other and never to leave our new home. The Angels loves the light chooses to stay near the sun, up in the sky while we devils love the darkness choose to live near the soil, deep into the core. We put our young ones to sleep while we shifted to our new home. Those that leave the new home shall never come back. We do not want the same tragic to happen.”
Walter: “I’m sorry that I bought an Angel here. Should I get him to leave first?”
King: “No, we need him. I need to teach him something which will be useful in your future fights. I think I saw one with sword in your team, get him to see me later.”
Walter: “I will. Thank you for your generous help.”
Axel: “I know this sounds strange but I think we met before.”
Dayanara: “Ya, I know what you mean. I think we met once when we were young.”
Axel: “You’re that girl in the forest that found me right?”
Dayanara: “You were crying, I just followed and saw you. How did you end up in the forest? Doesn’t Angels live in the sky?”
Axel: “I can’t really remember how I got lost but my parents found me anyway.”
Dayanara: “Ya, I ran off when I heard them coming.”
Axel: “I know I’m really talking weird but when our eyes met then and now there seems to be a really strong attraction.”
Dayanara: “I agree. It’s like I couldn’t get my eyes off you. If your parents didn’t appear I wonder how long we will be staring at each other back then.” *Haha*
Axel: *Haha* “I totally know what you mean.”
Queen: “Oh look at this view, how lovely.”
Axel and Dayanara jumped from the shock of hearing the queen from behind.
Dayanara: “Mo..Mom! When did you..”
Queen: “I didn’t hear anything dear. I just arrive to take some water, go on continue to do whatever you are doing.”
The queen left with giggles.
Axel whispered to Dayanara: “Is your Mom an angel?”
Dayanara was surprised by the question. “How do you know?”
Walter walked in and called out to Axel. “Axel, follow me please.” Axel followed. Next he went to call for Thaddeus. They followed Walter to meet the King. The king handed Thaddeus a sword and taught him how the two angel and devil sword can be combined.
T haddeus: “This is awesome. Is there a place where I can do some training?”
King: “Sure, come I’ll show you the way to the training ground.”
King: “Axel, I’ll need you and my daughter to come to the training ground from tomorrow onwards. We will be teaching the both of you a powerful technique that can only be done with one angel and one devil.”
Walter: “Are you certain? We can have any other devil, why your daughter?”
Axel: “Devils can’t return after they left? Like the angels?”
Walter: “Yes.”
The king smiled. “She should be free. We are trapped here, I would like her to go out there and see the world. And I know that she has been thinking about you after meeting you once in the forest.”
Axel: “How do you know about that?”
King: “I just do with a certain crystal of mine.” He looked and winked at Walter.
Thaddeus has been there since the day before and never left.
Axel: “Thaddeus catch!”
He caught a bag of bread and a jug of water.
Thaddeus: “Thanks! How do you know I need food! I’m starving.”
Axel: “I didn’t. Walter told me to bring it for you.”
Thaddeus: “Ah I see. Thanks anyway.”
Axel: “No problem, I’ll go in for training then. See you later. Come Dayanara.”
They went into the next training ground. The king and queen were there waiting for them.
King: “We will show you the first set of moves. Total there are ten sets, we can only show you nine of them. The tenth shall be developed by you.”
Queen: “Axel looks carefully on how I transfer my positive holy aura onto my axe. It is the basic, the stronger you are in the basic, the better the end result.”
King: “Same for you dear transfer your negative cursed aura onto your whip.”
Axel and Dayanara: “Yes, we will.”
They learned fast and managed to do all nine sets of move correctly within two days. However, they have no idea how the tenth will look like.
Thaddeus: “Can I come in? I’m taking a break.”
Axel: “Of course. Come on in.”
Thaddeus: “Hi Dayanara. How’s training so far? Heard from the king they have completed the part to train you. It’s really impressive that it only take you both two days.”
Dayanara: “The training was easy but what comes after the training is hard. We can’t figure out the tenth set of moves.”
Thaddeus: “Why don’t you trying showing to me? Maybe an outsider can give you guys some hints.”
Axel: “Good idea! Come Dayanara, let’s show it to him.”
They performed the nine sets of moves together perfectly to Thaddeus.
Thaddeus: “There seems to be something missing in your moves. Could it be that the tenth is not just moving around but more of a feeling or something?”
Axel: “Feelings? Hmm…”
Thaddeus: “Hey cheer up! Let me show you what I have been doing with my swords.”
Axel: “Cool! Show us!”
Initially, he uses dual sword which seems similar to what Axel and Dayanara have learned so far, two different elements, strong by themselves and dances beautifully with each other. Then he combined the two swords and the strike gets stronger. He interchanges between dual sword and combined them swiftly. He seems to be the sword itself, moving freely with both swords in his hands.
Axel: “I’m impressed. You are really a great swordsman. No wonder our Master gave you that sword.”
Dayanara: “It’s out of this world. You mastered the dual sword in such a short time.”
Thaddeus: “Thanks. Glad to see smiles on your faces. I’ll go back to practice you two should take a walk or something. Relaxing the mind may help you figure things out.”
Dayanara: “I guess you are right. We have been in here for too long and all we can think of are the nine sets of moves shown to us. Let’s clear our minds.”
Eleni: “We are stuck again. I wanna move on! MOVEEEEEE!” *Folds arms and pouting*
Walter: “Alek can you bring her around.”
Alek and Eleni left the house.
Priya: “I wonder how Axel, Dayanara and Thaddeus are.”
The door opens. “Miss us?”
Priya: “Oh Axel and Dayanara are back! I gotta wake Sarina up.”
Walter caught her left hand and said: “No you don’t. She is with Vincenzo. So how’s training?”
Axel: “It was good till the last part. Thaddeus seen us doing it and thinks we lack feelings.”
Walter: “Don’t you love each other?...”
Priya hits Walter with her right hand to cut him off and covers his mouth. Walter takes both her hands and hold onto them.
Walter: “Maybe what you lack is love. Did you see how Thaddeus “play” with his swords?”
Dayanara: “Yes we did. It was great.”
Walter: “Exactly. He love both swords but when separated the focus has to be split into half. They can be powerful by themselves but it will be stronger when combined. All his feelings are focused onto one sword. I believe it is the same for the both of you. If the two of you do not infuse your feelings in, it will always be just two separate items.”
Priya: “I think Walter has a point.”
Dayanara stood up and said: “Thanks Walter. I think I know what we need to do.” She pulled Axel off his seat and they left.
Dayanara: “Look at me. Is simple right? When we are doing those nine sets of moves we should look at each other like how Thaddeus looks at his sword.”
Axel: “Right… I shall try my best to keep my eyes attached to you and not my axe.”
Dayanara: “Treat me like I’m your axe and I’ll treat you like my whip.”
Axel looks confused. “I don’t seem to get you but I’ll try to do it.”
They repeated the moves again and again with eyes focused on each other. On the fifth try, they release a strike at the end of the move with a blurred axe surrounded by a whip with half angel and devil wings.
Axel: “Did you see that.”
Dayanara: “I think its working. We manage to combine them.”
Thaddeus: “Weird, normally they will come with breakfast at his hour. I don’t remember seeing them yesterday for dinner. Could they still be training?”
Thaddeus walks to the other training ground.
Thaddeus: “I don’t remember that huge hole on the wall. What did they do?” *Looks around* “Oh my, they slept here…”
Axel and Dayanara were fast asleep at the corner of the training ground.
Walter: “King and queen, we thank you for letting Dayanara into our team. Sorry for the trouble we have caused this few days at your place. We will eliminate or prevent the shadows from invading the peace.”
King and queen: “We trust you. Good bye dear.” *They hugged and kissed Dayanara on her checks.*
King: “Oh and here take this along.”
Sarina: “Thanks. They smell good, are they muffins?”
The king nodded with a smile on his face.
Priya: “Thank you so much. We will miss your delicious muffins.”
King looked at Thaddeus and said: “You have mastered the swords well. I’m happy for the swords.”
Axel: “I’ll take good care of Dayanara.”
Queen: “Of cos you will. Just promise me not to get her to bear your child.”
Dayanara: “Mom! What are you talking about?!”
Queen: “Promise me that Axel.” She has a serious look on her face.
Walter: “You better keep that promise. She will die if you broke it.”
Axel: “What do you mean she will die?”
Walter: “A devil can’t give birth to an Angel. Get it?”
Axel: “Not really but I will keep my promise to the queen.”
Walter: “Good.”

EvilTale II ~ Part 5 Part 5: Nearer to the Truth, the added Holiness
~On the Vehicle~
Walter: “Take a left turn in front. Go straight. We should reach a small village at the end of the road.”
Alek followed his instruction carefully.
Eleni: “Where are we going? I’m bored.”
Thaddeus: “We plan to seek help from Angels. They should be strong against the enemy since they are weak against holy magic.”
Priya: “I see. It should be easy to get their help. We save them once in the past and Walter’s master is there as well.”
The vehicle jerked and Sarina lost her balance. Vincenzo caught her.
Sarina: *Blushing* “Thank you.”
Vincenzo: “Be careful.” He gently let her go.
Sarina: *Noticed Vincenzo’s eyes* “Your dark red eyes look so much better than my pale red eyes. How I wish they are like yours.”
Vincenzo: “You’re beautiful with those eyes.”
The vehicle came to a stopped in front of a small village.
Alek: “Everyone out.”
They walk into the empty village.
Thaddeus: “Where’s everybody?”
Priya: “Follow Walter and you’ll find out.”
Walter walked into a hut; there is a book shelf in the middle of the hut. He took out his wand, inserted the back into one of the book on the shelf and dragged it out half way. The book shelf started transforming into a staircase, at the end of the stairs it continue to extend with rays of light which leads to the sky.
At the huge gate of HolyDivine, Walter pressed his hand against it. A smaller gate appeared which allowed them to enter.
Thaddeus: “Are we on Heaven?!”
Priya: “Guess so. Here’s the home of the Angels.”
One angel landed in front of Walter. “Welcome back, Walter.”
Walter: “Thank you Axel. Any idea where is my Master?”
Axel: “Same old place.”
Walter: “Alright, I’ll catch up with you later.”
They followed Walter and came across a huge empty space.
Walter: “Master, it’s me, Walter. I have bought friends along, can we come in?”
Eleni: “Walter is crazy! There is no one here! Priya you need to check his head! It’s probably damage.”
A man’s voice echoed. “Walter, I have been waiting for you. Please come in with your friends.”
Eleni runs and hide behind Alek. “That’s creepy. Help me Alek.”
Alek held her hand. “Come Eleni. I’m here.” Eleni followed him.
They moved towards the center. Images of people, animals, plants, etc starts to appear around them.
The man appeared and stood beside Walter.
Walter: “Seems peaceful.”
Walter’s Master: “On the surface it looks peaceful but there were cracks in some areas, shadows starts to haunt the living. I know you will come soon.”
Walter: “What is creating those cracks?”
Walter’s Master: “Walter, you and your ancestors have done a great job in maintaining peace. However, those defeated were spared of their lives. They have gathered to take revenge. An army rose from the shadows will be created, feeding on the living to walk in the light. There is a blurred vision of them trying to revive someone powerful. I didn’t manage to see who they are trying to revive but I can sense great darkness and hatred. If they succeed, the world may end up in his shadow.”
Walter: “An army rose from his shadow, born from hatred towards the living. Who can he be…”
Walter’s Master turned and looked at Alek.
Walter whispered to himself: “No. It can’t be.”
Walter’s Master: “You will need a stronger party. Choose wisely, Walter.”
Walter: “I will Master. Thank you for your help.”
Walter’s Master: “Don’t thank me yet. Tomorrow morning meet me at the training hall.”
Axel: “What’s bothering you? Wanna tell me about it? Anything I can help?”
Walter looked at Axel with deep thoughts. “I might need the strength of an Angel in my party. But Angels are not allowed to leave HolyDivine. Do you think Master will allow one of the Angel to accompany us?”
Axel: “I’m not sure but if you really need an Angel, I would gladly be the one.”
Walter’s Master: “Walter, HolyDivine is your source of power. Learn to use it. Once you succeed in obtaining HolyDivine’s power, its light will lead you out of the shadow.”
Sarina: “Welcome back! How’s training today?”
Priya: “We have completed the training. I think Eleni will be very happy to hear this.”
Sarina: “Ya, she has been really upset these two weeks. I’ll go tell her the good news.”
Eleni: “I heard ya! So are we leaving now?! Please Priya, let’s leave now.” Tears start to form in her eyes.
Walter: “Alek, please take Eleni outside. We will leave tomorrow morning.”
Priya: “Walter. Are you going to ask Axel…”
Thaddeus: “Hey Axel! We are leaving tomorrow, sorry for messing up your house and thank you for taking care of us while Walter and Priya are having their training.”
Axel: “You are welcome. Walter’s friends are my friends.”
Walter: “Axel, join my party and leave HolyDivine.”
Axel was shocked being cut off by Walter.
Axel: “Well, these two weeks I have been thinking of what you told me about needing an Angel in your party. If I go with you, it’s equivalent to abandon HolyDivine which is my home. But I really want to see the world and help you.”
Walter: “So is it a yes?”
Axel: “Hmm… I’ll give you my answer tomorrow morning.”
