Heading home so so so tired everyday from work. Learning how to work with all these people who come from completely different backgrounds than those I'm used to interacting with has been pretty trying. At the same time, you realise that every single one of them has a reason why they are acting bitchy/hard to work with.
I'm glad I've chosen to spend this time working here though, instead of taking up some internship/working in an office environment. It definitely has broadened what I perceive the world to be. Despite all having come from the most complicated backgrounds possible, all my coworkers have been among the simplest and most honest people I've known. And to understand the struggles of a Filipino trying to make a living in Singapore or a lesbian couple seeking approval from people they care about or even someone trying to make ends & eagerly waiting for the next paycheck, these are all things that I don't think I would actually comprehend before working here.

I received a letter that I wrote to myself last year during alps which was posted to us a year later. Pretty surreal reading what I had to say a year ago, all the reminders and hopes and dreams that scarily mostly came true.
It's only after reading that letter that I realised what has changed in me from then to now, and what I've learnt during that trip that I have carried with me up till this day.
Gosh I really miss the vast starry nights and mountain range and the feeling that you are the tiniest speck in the world. And even the freezing temperatures that were not supposed to occur during the summer. And especially the sense of a team that we had built up over those days(:

Just 3 short months to the end of this insane mugging, to endless freedom, to officially being free from 12 long years of education, to making your own decisions. 3 short months till you can't blame anyone for your lack of achievements, till I'm responsible for how my life turns out.
And it scares me so so much.

Knowing that someone once a part of your life is now gone forever is such an indescribable feeling.

From not knowing how to play my instru at all to being able to play most of the songs i couldn't have done it without the encouragement and the patience of all my batchmates and seniors and juniors <3
Now that we're not going to see each other regularly and not going to spend time before dazus joking and complaining about how long and boring prac is i'm actually going to miss all the super late pracs that we've had because of all the people that make my day(:
It's amazing how much progress we can make in such a short period of time but we made magic yesterday (:(:
