You can never say never..

5/3/10 12:10 pm - Suppose.

I've been neglecting this space for quite some time, until I don't know what really to update. Recent events are my POP, 21st birthday party at my house, Zulu battery BBQ at Kovan Melody, and Andy's 21st birthday at his house.

My 21st birthday was awesome, with a bunch of great friends around me, making the moment so memorable and vivid to me. I must really thank them, for some whom I had known for 10 over years, some whom really stood by me during hard times and when I needed them. I know this might be quite late, but I still wanna say a BIG thank you to you guys(you know who you are). =D

Zulu battery BBQ was another event after my party, which I got satay sauce + whipping cream onto my face. I wished for more gatherings like this in the future when we are separated to battery lines. And I realized that the bond and relationship we had is really very strong, as compared to those I had in BMT, this feeling I had right now is totally different. I know that my companion now in 21SA will surely make my remaining 1+ years exciting and meaningful. We joke, we train, we do all sorts of things to attain what we are today. I'm proud, I'm contented, and I'm sad as well for the separation with just weeks to come.

These few weeks had been fruitful, with all sorts of companion I've had, I feel that my life is almost perfect. But still there bound to be some moments which I came across to crash everything down. I'm looking forward to every weekends that I have right now, with Ip Man 2 this coming saturday, and a lunch/dinner treat next next sat. =D

4/11/10 03:31 pm - To go all out, or to stop and let go?

2 weeks more to passing out, with just ATP this coming week and proficiency test outfield the week after. Time really flies and the time left of the Zulu trainees is getting lesser and lesser. We will all be separated to respective battery lines after our bronco course, and everything just starts from square one yet again.

And this week in camp, was not a very happy and pleasant one for me. It made me realized that we should live our life for ourselves, not for someone else, if not you will be really suffering every nights during admin time. I've cleared my SOC this week but I wasn't happy or what for achieving it, unlike when I achieved an IPPT Gold back in Feb. The feeling was totally different this time, and I don't know how to explain it with words.

Endurance running has been always a way of mine for letting out my emotions for whatever reasons, the emotion somehow managed to spur me for running on and on without stopping, and set my mind blank and forgetting about everything. I wish for more PT sessions in camp, but its not going to happen anyway, so that I can at least feel better letting all out, rather than keeping it inside me.

It never felt like this before, but right now I'm already on the verge of giving up...
