I’m interested in traces of the past. In found objects, in saving history, documents, useful everyday bits of paper. My style is often rooted in nature and conservation. Life is too short and I find I’m happiest to live it without limits and therefore explore every possible medium. After all, how hard can it be if someone somewhere has done it? Also I’m a bit sketchbook obsessed.
It seems that in this world it’s impressive to call oneself a multidisciplinary artist and declare an obsession with something profound, like liberation or repression, but that doesn’t interest me. I simply enjoy capturing moments in my life. Impressions of the normal, daily, small, personal. I’m very happy to share, to tell you about any process, materials, or techniques.
