Christmas Pageant

I'm going to pretend like we haven't done anything for the last 6 months and just pick up right here in December.

We had our ward Christmas pageant last night, our whole family was involved. We did a production of "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever." The kids each got to play a role in the nativity scene.

Tyler was a wise man

Haley was an angel

Ethan was a shepherd

He was actually trying to herd the sheep, thinking they would listen to him

Dylan was a sheep

They all had a good time. Today Bishop told Ethan that he was a good shepherd and he said "I know"

City of Rocks

We visited the City of Rocks--it's not hard to tell how it got it's name.

This one we thought looked like Pride Rock from the Lion King.

The kids had a good time climbing on the rocks.

Haley found plenty of wild flowers.

It was the boy's turn to party at grandma's--so we had a pirate sleep over--arrr!

I was up early enough to see the sun come up--I thought it was rather picturesque.

Playset Addition

I've been building an addition to the kid's playset while they are gone for the summer. It's been keeping me busy and it should be a good surprise for them when they get back.

The red colored wood was already there, all of the tan/green wood is what I've added on.

I'm going to add a roof to the large platform, but other than that it's pretty much done.

There's also a picnic table underneath. If you see my kids before I do, don't tell them about it... it's a surprise.

Grandma had slumber party for all the granddaughters--what a night!!
