It's been forever since I posted anything.  I just wanted to get some family pics up for relatives.  So here you go. We took these pictures down in Monroe, Utah with the fabulous Carrie Mann.  Thanks Carrie!

One More GIRL!!!

Well, it's official... Maggie is pregnant with another girl. When Xidis found out in the ultrasound room he shed a few tears that it wasn't a little brother. Of course the girls were extremely excited. I can't wait until they are all teenager at the same time. Won't that be fun?

Maggie is due at the end of November.

Cupcake Eating Champion

We went to the Davis County Fair with our friends again this year. The beginning of the day was pouring down buckets of rain and it probably kept away a lot of the crowds. Because of that, we were able to get into a lot of the eating competitions. I got in a Marie Calendars pie eating contest and lost. Xidis got into the same contest for his age group and lost. Maggie and Elyxzia both made it into the cupcake eating contest. Elyxzia turned out to be our cupcake eating champion and smoked all of the 0 - 4 year olds. She was going up against mostly boys and she wolfed down an entire cupcake in one minute. It was fun and we were really proud of her. On the other hand, Maggie went up against a bunch of other moms and was in the lead until she started gagging and nearly threw up. She lost her competition and only pounded a little over a single cupcake herself in one minute. How embarrassing! If I get some pictures from my friend, I'll post them.

Baby Anyx

Anyx Minson was born on December 22nd 2009 at 10:42am at the University of Utah hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She weighed 8 lbs on the dot and was 21 inches long.

Everything went very well during the labor and delivery. No complications or major problems.

For the first half a day or so she looked almost exactly like little Mazzie, but she has slowly been getting her own unique look.

She has lighter hair, but we're not sure what color it is. Maggie is hoping for red, but her hair will all fall out and come in again another color anyway, at least that's how all the other kids have happened.

Autumn 2009

We had the most beautiful weather a couple days ago. I had a couple hours between studying and writing assignments and we played outside with the kids. It was unusually warm and as evening fell and it got dark, it stayed very warm. So we borrowed a neighbors rake and made a big leaf pile to jump in. The kids loved it.

Halloween 2009

Here's the kids right before we began trick-or-treating. Mazzie and Elyxzia were both butterflies from last years old navy costume line. We bought the costumes the day after Halloween last year for $5. Xidis decided that he wanted to be a cool skateboard dude, but he got tired of lugging his skateboard around to each house and no one really knew what he was supposed to be.

Here he is posing like a nerd. At least he thinks he's cool.

The kids stopped for a picture in a pile of leaves. It was a really beautiful evening especially after several days of snow and rain.

The girls walking hand in hand. Elyxzia had a Little Bo-Peep costume that she wore some of the other halloween activities, but we forgot to take pictures. It was really cute.

It's A Girl! Again!

Maggie's due date is December 24th and it's a girl!

The Ward Luau

We had a church activity about a week ago. It was a Hawaiian Luau. There were real pigs that were cooked up and everything. The kids got to do a little dance that they had been working on and there was a Hawaiian family that came to entertain and dance. The kids loved it. Xidis especially loved the fire dance. It was one of the best church activities we have ever been to.

Mazzie was watching some of the male dancers do a traditional war dance and they were making these grunts and sounds and sticking their tongues out while making scary faces. Mazzie thought that was great and she did the same for several minutes.

Here's Elyxzia in her costume with her leigh. She just danced and danced all night long.

Even when the kids were done with their part, she kept going out in front of everyone and danced. She just couldn't get enough.

Mazzie just followed her example. Here she has Zoe's skirt on and an extra leigh. She kept dancing too.
