It has been well documented that I am horrible about remembering my camera at big events. So this is one of the only decent pictures I took on New Year's Eve! This is just a clip from "Fun Times in Letson Farms!"

Tacky Christmas Sweater Party

Our friends the Walkers hosted our 1st Annual Tacky Christmas Sweater Party. There were some very creative outfits but I think Jarrett may have won the prize (or was at least awarded most brave!)

Over the Hill!

My family threw me a surprise 30th birthday party! It was so much fun to see all my friends from different times of my life there and to know that they are all STILL my friends! It reminded me of how truly blessed I am which was the greatest gift of all!

~However, NONE of the pictures we took turned out. We had the camera on the wrong setting and didn't realize the problem until everyone had gone. Which then prompted this lovely picture!

30th Birthday Bash

Jarrett turned 30 on October 25th but we waited until most of his other friends turned 30 as well to all celebrate together. We had a lot of fun and it was nice to get together for a night out!
We went to dinner at Ocean on Southside...so good!

What in the world???

On our beach trip the kids slept in a room with 2 twin beds. Well one bed was by the window and they were afraid to sleep close to the window so they took their mattress and put it on the other side of the room between the bed and the closet. Looks comfy!

Locks of Love

Morgan donated her LONG hair to Locks of Love so that another child who doesn't have hair can use it for a wig! You are truly a special girl Morgan!! ...And you look cute with short hair too!

Hannah's class took a field trip to the Vulcan. She and her friends toured the museam then climbed ALL the stairs to the top!

Morgan as Deborah Sampson

Morgan's school assignment was to choose a famous American to write about and dress up as. She chose Deborah Sampson who was the first American female to fight in a war. Ms. Sampson dressed as a boy and fought undiscovered until she became ill and hospitalized.

ShowStoppers Christmas Float

Hannah is on the competition team at ShowStoppers this year and Christal is teaching again. Hannah and Jacey got all dressed up and rode on the float in the Christmas parade. Hannah's class performed during the parade. Jacey made it most of the way but when she saw NaNa and Aunt Pat on the sidelines she decided watching might be more fun and jumped ship!
