Laugh-out-loud funny. Unexpectedly moving. Daniel turns family, faith and the glorious mess of being human into songs you'll carry home.

01 — The story

In a few words…

Daniel Cainer is a multi-award-winning songwriter, performer and broadcaster. A veteran of six off-Broadway runs and eighteen Edinburgh Fringes, he has made Jewish musical storytelling unmistakably his own.

His songs wander through family, love, faith, food and everything in between—with a rare blend of humour and pathos. He's written for folk singers, actors, rabbis and cantors, performed topical songs for the BBC, and worked in studios from Abbey Road to the Record Plant.
