Catch Up Time!

I can't believe how fast time flies by. February went by in such a hurry and then all of a sudden, March is gone! We had a great month last month. Wyatt turned two!!! He and my dad have the same birthday so it was a lot of fun to celebrate with both of them!I can't believe how much Wyatt is growing up. It seems like every day he is doing or saying something new. He really loves to copy Kaycee so pretty much whatever she does, he follows. He absolutely loves to ride his pony, Breezy. Everyday he asks us if he can ride. For his birthday Cameron wanted to get him a rope to "practice" roping. He loves that thing so much! So now all day he wears the cowboy hat and totes around the rope. Occasionally he sneaks his cowboy boots too. (No shoes on in the house) So for his 2 year old pictures I decided to take them with his hat and boots.


Kaycee is 4 going on 14 right now. She is, by far, my best friend though! She helps me out as much as she can. She even tries to be Wyatts little mother. She is so excited for our baby to come. My sister just had a baby and she wants to trade babies. She says, "mom, we'll take Kedzie and when Laynee comes then we will give her to janet!" She is too smart. I told her it didnt work like that. But anyway, things here in the Faddis house hold is going great. We are extremely blessed in every way.

Baby #3

I got the chance to find out what our baby is on my birthday. I had the best birthday ever. My husband is the best and he made it so awesome! He got up early and put banners up and made a fantastic breakfast. In my family growing up, we had the tradition to use red dishes for the person who has a special event coming up. So he even got the red dishes out!! Then at noon he came home because of the ultrasound. So we headed to the ultrasound. At the ultrasound everything looked great! AND! we are having a GIRL!! I am so excited. I really really really wanted kaycee to have a sister. I just feel bad for Wyatt! He is now surrounded by girls! My sister is having a baby and she already has two girls and is pregnant with her another girl. So when we play, there will be 5 girls to one Wyatt! Then to make my birthday even better, Cameron took me and the kids to trolley square and we ate at the spagetti factory. It was so yummy and the kids had a blast. It was a perfect birthday, with my perfect husband and family.



These kids are so amazing and have the greatest personalities! I love them so much and I thank Heavenly Father each and every day for sending me these children. I am so lucky to be their mom!!

A little Behind...

This year Cameron and his Dad went deer hunting during the rifle hunt. They had a really good time. Especially since Cameron got a deer. Cam was happy too because it was his last year in the dedicated hunter. So now we have a lot of jerky and a filled tag. Cam was really glad to get to go with his dad. This is his deer....



Then in October Cameron and I went Elk hunting. We had a blast. It was so much fun to be able to go out with Cameron. My mother in law was so nice to take Kaycee and Wyatt for a night and then my mom was so sweet to pick them up and take them for the second night! The kids love being with their grandma's and they had a blast!!!! My poor mom was on double duty because that same weekend my cute sister (actually sister in law, but shes my sister) went into labor that same weekend and my mom was taking the kids with her everywhere! I know it wasn't easy, so THANKS MOM!!!! I know I am a little late to blog about it, but better late than never. :)

Cameron and I never got anything but it was still fun to try. The weather was still too warm at the time so all the elk were exremely high. Oh well, better luck next year! Here are some pics of our little weekend.

I love Sundays

I absolutely love Sundays. Its a day that the family can spend time together and not have to worry about getting here or there. The kids, Cameron and I love to pop popcorn and put on a movie that the kids will enjoy and just spend the time together.

After church it was freezing and sleet/raining outside. I was going to cook enchaladas but decided I wanted some type of soup. So I started for some different types of soups. I found this Cheesy potato soup. It was sooooooooooooo yummy and it hit the spot. :)

After we ate the soup we cleaned up and I decided I wanted to do turkey pumpkins. We did not get to carve pumpkins this year because of all the craziness going on with the house and not being in the house we had to forgo the carving extravaganza this year. I really wanted the kids to have some type of activity with our pumpkins that we grew. So I told Cameron my idea and he quickly drew up this turkey head. He is not only the best husband in the entire world but he is the BEST Dad. I do not know many fathers who will cut out all these little pieces by hand and glue them together for their kids. Plus, they turned out soooooooo DARLING!! I absolutely love my husband and what he puts up with. He is the best thing in my life...he and the kids of course! Needless to say we had a great time tonight and had a blast making turkey pumpkins.

Daisy Girl

About a year ago Cameron, his brothers, and Dad started hunting up in Logan for pheasants. Its a beautiful place and its a blast for the boys to go hunt there now that there isn't much to hunt down here. Cameron has a german short haired dog named daisy. He has had her since a junior in High School. She is a really good dog but very old. Cameron absolutely loved her and how she hunted. She was so exciting to watch when she was out. This year was no different. He wanted to take her out since we figured it was going to be her last hunt this year. (Because of her age) So on Saturday Cameron early early morning loaded Daisy up and headed up to Logan. Towards the end of the day Cameron was up on the hill and Daisy was tuckered out so she stayed behind. When the boys came back, Daisy was GONE. The boys looked everywhere for her and she was no where to be found. Cam and I headed back up to Logan yesterday and looked for her for HOURS! Still no Daisy. So now, we are extra sad because we don't know if she ran away or crawled off in the bushes and past away. Either way we are very sad in the Faddis house hold. Kaycee and Wyatt (More Kaycee) are extremely sad. Kaycee cried when we told her that she was gone and not going to be coming home. She told Cameron we needed to call the Police to go find her. She was a great dog, sometimes a little stinker, but we loved her anyway!! So this post is going to be in memory of our Daisy girl.

Still Kickin...

I looked at my blog today and noticed that the last time I posted anything was in MAY! A lot has gone on and almost too much to post. I am going to attempt to do catch up. We had a great summer and sorta sad to see it go! Our summer ended abruptly. On Aug. 22nd during a really bad wind storm a tree blew over on top of our house! Luckily we all were able to get out safely and no one was harmed. So grateful for family and friends who have been there for us. We have amazing friends who have been so awesome to us and letting us come over for dinner and letting the kids play. We are so grateful for you guys, you know who you are! Eating out every night gets REALLY old.
When the tree fell on the house it came through Kaycee's bedroom. I am also so grateful that she was not in the room while it happened. She was already tramatized by the whole thing. Now our house is completely under construction and getting put back together. Our sweet, darling neighbor is taking pictures of each process of the home as it is under construction. I'll have to get the photo's from her so you all can see the the long, drawn out process!

He Did It!

Here he is...all done and graduated. The UVU school did a great job. It was really sweet how they lined up all the teachers down the walk way as the graduating students walked passed. Kaycee and Wyatt were so proud of their daddy! Kaycee kept yelling, YAH DAD!!!! She was so cute. Wyatt loved waving to Cameron down on the floor.
