People say that pain and suffering make us better humans, but in my opinion, that is a complete lie.
Pain creates a desire for revenge, and revenge breeds cruelty.
Most people who are labeled as "bad" or "ruthless" have endured pain in the past—about 80% of them. They once suffered so much that they made a vow to take revenge.
In reality, they have been hurt to the point that they act without thinking, driven only by the desire to destroy the person or thing that caused them or their loved ones pain.
I don't know where I am as you read this, or where you are. Perhaps you are reading this at a time when I am no longer in this world. But whenever you come across these words, please pay attention to them.
If you are in the process of seeking revenge, stop. Revenge will not bring you peace; it will not heal you. You may face many psychological struggles as you try to let go of your need for revenge, but remember—your heart led you to this text because you were searching for love and compassion.
I believe in you and the power of your love.
Ask yourself: Which is better—love or revenge?
Let your heart answer, for it knows the truth.
