When I got into indie polishes KB shimmer was one of the first brands I tried first of all because of the amazing colors and the reasonable price tag. I’ve ordered twice so far, and I already know I’ll be ordering more. First off, the mystery polishes are a ton of fun to order and it’s almost like opening a present. I also love the formulas so much, especially on the thermals. I have Fired Up, Best Buds, Apple-y Ever After and Aloe There and they all have the best formula I’ve ever used on a thermal, no gloopiness or patchiness at all. The holos are also stunning!
The shipping is super fast, and I was sent a free polish in my second order (Chrome for the Holidays) that really made my day and totally makes me want to order some more of the crelly polishes! I’d totally recommend KBShimmer to anyone who loves indie polish or polish in general!

I found KBShimmer when I looked online for Best Indy Polishes, went to your website and loved what I saw. Also love your creative, clever color names and descriptions. (I instantly connected with your backstory about loving LOTS of color crayons since childhood!) I’m also a self-professed nail polish and beauty junkie, have used/tried tons of nail polishes. KBShimmer polishes are excellent quality, first rate. They go on beautifully, colors are saturated, lots to choose from and my manicures LAST! Longer than other high end “big-named” brands. 🦇 Bat To The Bone 🦇
Hanging from cave ceilings, swooping through the night sky (and maybe even turning into vampires), bats seem to be born to symbolize Halloween. These black-winged mammals were scary enough to me before learning that some are called vampire bats because they drink actual blood! That said, being the only mammals capable of true flight with a remarkable ability to use echolocation to hunt in the darkness, there’s no denying that bats really are bad to the bone.
Bat To The Bone is a black jelly nail polish loaded with flakes in green, orange, and purple. At some angles, lime, pink, and indigo tones come out to play. Pair with the included purple metallic bat glitters for a perfectly batty polish. This jelly shade is best in 2-3 coats.
