LLL at HMP LEWES
Feb 25 - April 1, 2026
LLL presented a cultural mini-festival inside Lewes Prison during late February / early March. Visitors bringing inspiration to inmates included ex-footballer now Sky Sports pundit Paul Parker in a live interview with bestselling sportswriter Paul Zanon, a life writing workshop with poet Jackie Wills, philosopher/author Andy West (who's book about philosophy and prison was recently serialised on BBC TV), astronomer Darren Baskill, ex-prisoner turned conceptual artist Gary Mansfield, graphic novelist ILYA and a flash fiction workshop with writer Stephen Dark. Another mini-festival at Lewes Prison is being planned for February/March 2027.
