My name is Bobby Coggins and I am looking for help in with my citizen journalist effort that focuses on video recording and posting gavel to gavel coverage of local government meetings. I also run a weather and public safety information service that I would like to expand to include weather and road condition webcams and weather stations in and around Macon County, which is located in far western North Carolina. The main goal with my video coverage is to provide the people of Macon County with the most accurate information about what their elected and appointed official are doing in a timely manner. The main goal with my weather and public safety effort is to provide as accurate information about current and expected weather and road conditions in and around Macon County as I can. This includes posting information about traffic accidents, fires and other things that may cause traffic headaches...and if you are armed with this information, you can avoid being late to wherever it is that you need to be.
