Races

[edit]

The 24 Hours of Le Mans for Trucks is above all a sporting event, during which three rmajor races are held on the Bugatti Circuit: the European Truck Racing Championship, the FFSA French Truck Racing Championship [fr], and in 2024, the British Truck Racing Championship.[1].

The races are rather short, lasting from 15 to 20 minutes, and particularly spectacular because of the incredible size of the vehicles participating. Four races per vehicle platform are scheduled over the course of a weekend.[2]

Each Grand Prix is structured in the same manner, with free practice on Saturday, a qualifying session (timed session 1), and two races (races 1 and 2). On Sunday, there is a warm-up session, another qualifying session (timed session 2), and two more races (races 3 and 4).[2]
