Yes. We designed Diagrams by Miro for anyone who wants to make a diagram quickly, share it with others, and collaborate in real time or async. To invite others to work with you, share your board link, and they will have access right away with no sign-up required.

When you share your board link with others, they get instant access to your diagram.

With Diagrams by Miro, you won’t get notifications about changes others make to your online diagram. If you want to stay on top of things, you can sign up for a free Miro account, and you’ll receive a notification whenever someone else edits your board while you are away.

You can either share the link to your diagramming board or download your diagram as an image or PDF.

Export your content by clicking on the "export this board" icon on the top left corner of your board. Your online diagram will be exported as a PDF or JPG file.

The diagram helps you get started when creating your first diagram online. Diagrams by Miro allows you to edit and build on a pre-made template, or it gives you the freedom to create a diagram from scratch by using the diagramming shapes pack on the left toolbar. Try it for yourself and see what works best for you.

Your board will be automatically saved for up to 24 hours.

Yes, as long as you access it within the 24 hour saving limit. If you need to save your board for longer or if you wish to continue working with the diagramming tool, sign up for a free Miro account.

Select all the elements with the Selection tool and press the delete button to delete your diagram.

There are many features you can use in Diagrams by Miro. You’ll find all of them on the left toolbar.

• Selector tool: helps you organize your board, allowing you to grab your diagram elements, resize them, and move them around.
• Diagramming shapes pack: grants you access to all the basic diagramming and flowchart shapes and connectors.
• Connection line: helps you connect shapes.
• Sticky notes: give and receive instant feedback on your board, and iterate your diagrams faster.
• Templates library: browse through a selection of diagramming templates to help you get started.

Diagrams by Miro helps you to get started with a pre-made diagram. It’s a fully customizable template. If you wish to create a diagram from scratch, delete the pre-made diagram by selecting it with the Selector tool and pressing delete. Go to the diagramming shapes library in the left toolbar, choose the shapes and connector lines you want to use, and start diagramming.

You can create many diagrams with the Miro diagramming tool. Access the shapes library on the left toolbar to create a diagram from scratch. If you want to start with a template, browse our Templates Library to create flowcharts, concept maps, customer journeys, customer touchpoints, UML diagrams, swimlane diagrams, block diagrams, and affinity diagrams. If you need another template, sign up for a free Miro account to access more than +300 in our Templates Library.

Diagrams by Miro offers all the basic diagramming shapes and connectors. You’ll find them on the left toolbar with the complete flowchart shapes pack. If you need more specific diagramming shapes, sign up for a free Miro account and upgrade later to access more diagramming capabilities to create BPMN, Azure, Cisco, Kubernetes, and many other diagrams.

Yes. On the left toolbar, you’ll find some of our templates. There are 8 you can choose from, and they are totally customizable. Here are the built-in templates: Flowchart, Customer Journey, Concept Map, Customer Touchpoint, UML Diagram, Swimlane Diagram, Block Diagram, and Affinity Diagram. If you don’t find a template that suits your needs, you can sign up for a Miro free account and browse through more than 300 ready-made templates in Miro’s Template Library.

Yes, access the shapes library on the left toolbar to start creating flowcharts and basic diagrams. If you need more specific diagramming shapes, sign up for a Miro account and get access to a vast diagramming shapes library.

Sign up for a Miro account if you need more robust diagramming features. Once you have an account, you can access more templates, features, shapes, saving capabilities, and admin access. Please note that some of them are available only for paid accounts.

Sticky notes are an excellent tool for giving or receiving feedback when diagramming, brainstorming ideas, or adding insights on the board to help you and your team easily create a diagram. To use this feature, click on the sticky note icon on the left-side toolbar or press hotkey N to add stickies to your board.

Diagrams by Miro has a Select tool (the arrow icon at the top of the left toolbar) for selecting items on your board. When you create a diagram, use the Select tool to move shapes, add connector lines, and bulk edit their details, including color or size, text, and links.

Use Connection lines whenever you need to link different objects on your diagram. Click on the left-side toolbar of your board, select the connection line icon and choose what kind of line you want to make, or simply press the hotkey L to start drawing a connection line directly on your digital whiteboard. To link objects, just click on the blue dots around them and draw the line directly from it to the second object. The Connection lines are great for drawing diagrams, flowcharts, and mindmaps.

Diagrams by Miro has a built-in text feature, so when you create your diagram, just double-click the shape of your diagram to edit the labels or add text in connector lines. If you want to add a comment or an insight, use the sticky notes in the left toolbar.

Yes, you can undo or redo any action you perform on your board. The undo/redo button is on the left side of your board, right under the toolbar.

To copy objects on your board, use the select tool by clicking on the arrow button. Select the object you want to copy and press Command+C (Ctrl+C) to copy and Command+V (Ctrl+V) to paste it.

If you want to name your diagram board, you’ll need to sign up for a free Miro account. Just click the top left corner Miro Lite button and go to Miro sign up.

You can upload images, PDFs, Google Drive documents, and MS Office files to Diagrams by Miro. Just be mindful that the maximum file size is 30MB and the full image resolution is 32MP, and if you have any other doubts about file types, please read this article. To add files to your whiteboard, simply drag and drop them from your folder or desktop.
