Location

[change | change source]

Esley is in the south of the historic region of Lorraine, about 9 km southeast of Vittel and about 31 km west of Épinal.

Esley is partly in the drainage basin of the Rhine and partly in the drainage basin of the Rhône. The commune is drained by the Ruisseau d'Esley, which flows through the area from west to northeast, and the Bouxérat, which has its source in Esley and flows south.
