Rafael Mariano Grossi (born 12 March 1961)[2] is an Argentine politician who has been the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) since 3 December 2019. He was the Argentine Ambassador to Austria from 2013 to 2019.[3]

In December 2025, Grossi announced his candidacy to be the next Secretary-General of the United Nations.[4]
