Controller & game issues
When hitting ps button on dualsense it kills all inputs on steam link other than the ps button opening dashboard, and some games just randomly started booting into windowed mode and no buttons work. Only game that works without an issue is selaco and even then I have to hit the ps button to get the game to register inputs. This just randomly happened was working flawlessly and it bugged out any help plz

Since the PS guide button seems to be the problem, I would recommend you just remove any mapping for the guide button on the Steam controller layouts.
Make sure you have the PlayStation controller compatibility turned "on" in: Settings > Controller > External Gamepad settings > Play Station controller support, turn to "Enable".
On the same menu, the first option on that list should probably be toggled off as well: "Guide Button focuses Steam", toggle "off" (gray).

Also, on "Non-Game Controller Layouts", just below that same list, disable "Desktop Layout".

On a minor note, more details would be highly appreciated. The information you are giving is a bit lacking, making it hard to think of what could be wrong.

in steam config the chord profile to what you want the buttons to do

its a temp global profile used anytime the home/ps/xbox button is held for the controller
very useful for games that use a launcher where you need k/m input to start the game before normal controller inputs can work
