After nVidia's GameStream shut down, I installed Sunshine and dusted off the Steam Link and was amazed for the quality and stability of the stream with Moonlight.
So, I hooked up a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 and the audio out works very well. My TV has stereo output, my home theater system doesn't have HDMI in..

So, I thought about this solution: can any 5.1 sound card be used?
I would like to buy a (cheap) 5.1 sound card to use all the channels of my home theater system. Does anyone have any experience with this?
