Quest 1 Support
My Quest 1 is pretty much a brick right now due to Meta refusing to support it. It'd be great if we got an SDK 29 APK for the Steam Link VR app that we could sideload. Then I'd have a reason to use it again.

but at this point I'm just waiting for the steam frame

To double-check... the .apk bundled into SteamVR for sideloading doesn't work on the Quest 1? (In your SteamVR installation, you should have a drivers\vrlink\android-steamlinkvr-release.apk file.)

I haven't tested it personally, but everywhere I've looked says that the Quest 1 is stuck on SDK 29 and the Steam Link app requires SDK 30+

I'm literally looking at the build settings here and it says "minSdkVersion 29" so... can't hurt to try? It may well not work, but might as well test it regardless. :)
