Steam Controller Not recognized by the Steam Link android app

I have the Steam controllers firmware updated, i uninstalling and reinstalling steam link and it still gives me the same problem, i can only control the screen with a mouse with the right touchpad.

same. this is only happening on my pixel 7 though. the same version of steam link app on my android 9 tablet sees the steam controller just fine...

Same here, on my pixel 6a (Android 14) steam controller won't work.

However, on my old Android phone (Android 12) it works fine, it also works on my notebook.

Could it be an Android 14 issue?

It seems steam link app version before 1.3.2 do not have this problem even it is on android 14.

Thank you, I sideloaded 1.3.1 beta and now everything works flawlessly!

In March I bought new phone and thought that the problem was in android 14, but I never doubted the link app in the first place

Same problem, tried Anroid 13 and 14, and every version of steam link 1.2 through 1.3.9
I'll note that I'm running LineageOS (non-TV) on a RaspberryPi 4 and it says "unsupported device".

I have the controller's dongle connected to the Raspi 4, so not using the Bluetooth mode.

The controller works, in android and in the steam link app BEFORE connecting to the host PC.
DURING streaming, the controller *very sometimes* works. I.E. when I connect mouse and keyboard via USB, running steamlink 1.3.3, steamlink disables my mouse and keyboard devices after about 2 seconds in the app. And THEN the controller SOMETIMES works. It seems to me that it has all the information that it needs but something in the app is horribly bugged :(

If anyone has a good idea, I'm all ears
