For what it's worth, this beta build is what has the fix for the Fire TV Cube 3rd Gen in it -- unfortunately, due to how the Amazon app store works, the beta isn't *in* that store.

But if anyone with a Fire TV Cube and comfort with side-loading APKs wants to give this a try using the direct-download APK this weekend and report back, I would be *extremely* curious to hear the results. :)
i sideloaded it today, and i like it so far. sometimes when i started the old version it had a strange 1-2 second delay that often was only fixable by closing and restarting the stream. this version apparently not has this problem. also audio looks like its now 100% in sync. i also like that av1 was directly disabled in the menu (since its not working anyway). it still shows somehow high decoding latency numbers, but the gameplay feels very good. this version is way more stable now.
Since the update i have crackling sound on my Android 12 device. I suspect it has something to do with the "greatly improved audio latency" thing... anyone else? I am posting here 'cause iam not sure it started with the beta version or not, but surely it's 1.3.23 fault

Do you happen to know the manufacturer/model of your device?

(Android devices are... uh, widely varied, so any time there's a regression it's *really* useful to know what hardware it happened on.)

I too can confirm Feb 13 update did it
Well, boo. Sounds like it comes down to "notable audio lag on some devices" (a longstanding issue which 1.3.23 fixed) or "audio underflow/crackling on others" but no one fix that'll address *both* in a single solution. :(

That'll take a bit of thought...
