Plz help, controls get "looped", getting desperate
Hi! I really hope someone is finally able to help me. Here goes:

The problem is that when I'm using Raspberry Pi 4 with Retropie and playing via Steam Link, my controls get stuck for a few seconds and then work normal again. For example if I'm walking sideways and the problem occurs, my character will walk sideways for a few seconds even if I don't press anything. Nothing else happens, no matter what I press. Also I've figured out that it's not an input lag because no other command gets done when the looping happens, not even as delayed after looping. The character just stops and after that everything works fine. It happens in every game I've tried, it happens with every Xbox controller I have. The controllers are Xbox 360 controllers with wireless receiver connected to Rpi4. Haven't seen the problem happen with anything else than Steam Link. For an example if I play PS1 emulator, the controller works totally fine without getting stuck or "looping" as I prefer it. Still need to work my way to test this out with xbox series controllers I just got, but if someone has an idea what is going on I would totally appreciate it.

Setup: Raspberry Pi 4 8gb version, Samsung 43" TV connected with HDMI with no adapters, Xbox 360 wireless USB receiver. This is located in my bedroom and the host machine is in my living room. Host machine has Ethernet connection, Rpi4 has 5GHz Wifi and Steam Link speedtest gives me 90mb/s result, so the connection between the two should be OK and I never experience any lags or picture quality problems.

Sorry for a bit confusing explanation, I rly tried 😂

Edit: It doesn't happen just once per gaming session, it might happen 2-3 times in like 5 minutes and after that it may work for 15 minutes straight or then not. It's rly annoying and I have failed so many parts in so many games because of this...

Not that helpful, but I have the same problem. exactly same setup (Samsung TV, Pi4, 360 controllers with wireless dongle), did you ever find a solution?
