I am not sure if this was caused by this update or not, but the Steam Link app on my Raspberry Pi 4 is suddenly running extremely slowly when streaming. Both my host PC and Raspberry Pi 4 are on wired ethernet and I have been using the app successfully for years now. I was playing a game just fine yesterday, but today things were running super slow for some reason. Both the game I was streaming and Big Picture Mode felt like they were running in slow-mo.

In the app on my Raspberry Pi, it says I am on the public version of 1.3.32.314

I've already tried restarting my PC, Raspberry Pi 4 multiple times, router/network multiple times. I've even tried swapping out my ethernet cables to see if it's a bad cable. No luck so far.

Is there any way to revert back to a previous version to check if that is what is causing my issue?

Is your bitrate set to "Unlimited"?
If so, can you try setting your streaming bitrate to Automatic? If that fixes it, can you try opting into the Steam beta client on your PC and switch it back to Unlimited and let us know how those work?
Here, the same problem, I am using Rasberry 3B+, Rasbian Trixie, wired LAN. With framerate limit set to automatic audio and video is very slow (not only games but the steam itself). And when set to 30 or 60 fps (4k) it works without problems.

Everything was set to automatic. I tried setting bandwidth to unlimited on both the public and and beta clients, but neither worked out.

I did try out czajniczeq's suggestion of setting the framerate limit to 30fps though and that actually fixed my problem. It was on automatic before. I did try the other framerate limit options and my stream seems to work perfectly up to 60fps. I saw some slight input lag with 90fps and extreme input lag with 120fps (which is probably to be expected).

But yeah, seems like the solution is to set a framerate limit to somewhere between 30-60fps instead of using automatic.
Yeah, this is fixed in build 1.3.32.316, which should be available now. Thanks for the report!
Yes, app after today's update works great. Thanks for fast fix.

You're welcome!
Hi, not sure if this is the right topic for this question, but is it possible we will see support for Pyrowave on steamlink for the Raspberry Pi 4?

I spoke with the Raspberry Pi folks and they let me know that the GPU on the Raspberry Pi isn't powerful enough to decode Pyrowave.
