Steam Link version 1.3.1 BETA
The next version of Steam Link for iOS and Apple TV is now available as a beta build.

You can opt into the beta on TestFlight by clicking on the link here:

New in this build:
  • Added new high quality 1080p and 4K streaming configurations (*)
  • Added sensor fusion support for the Backbone One controller

(*) The 4K streaming preset requires an upcoming Steam beta client update to stream 4K resolutions

Yes! Finally fixes Steam Controller compatibility so I can play with it via Bluetooth on the Steam Link tvOS app. Thank you!!

Steam controller looses connection if you touch ipad screen. Power cycling the controller reconnects. 👍🏻

Does it fix the issue where Steam Link no longer automatically launches Big Picture Mode on the host, or closes Big Picture Mode on exit? I have two Apple TV 4K models running tvOS 16.6 and they both have this issue with Steam Link version 1.2.0.240

I'm so glad with the controller fix. How come it took so long? Was it an Apple thing?

Picture quality improvements work great! however I still have issues with scrolling. Ipad M4 magic keyboard trackpad jumps all over the place when scrolling, and Logitech MX master 3 mouse also really janky scrolling and fast.

Are you testing with the Steam beta client? The change requires some host side support as well.

Hi, thank you for the advice and sorry for a late reply!, after trying with the steam client beta it works significantly better now! Albeit a bit too sensitive for my liking, even when reducing the sensitivity to max on the steam big picture settings.
