External Monitor Bug - Cannot use Mouse
When using an iPad that connects to an external monitor, the steam link app launches a black screen on the iPad and outputs the stream on the external monitor. However when using a mouse, it is unusable on the external monitor as it is trapped within an invisible barrier of the iPad screen and not the entirety of the external monitor. Changing the resolution of the stream to match the iPad doesn’t solve the issue. In addition whether using stage manager or duplicating the iPad display, the result is always the same. There seems to be no way to get the mouse to properly use the external monitor without being locked in the iPad screen. I believe it’s an issue of scaling or a bug, if the mouse scales with the external display it should be fine. Please look into this valve. It would turn iPads into PCs.

Okay, this is fixed for the next update, as well as seamless display hotplug support for iPads.

I’m experiencing the same issue. I’d like to use Steam Link on an iPad Pro M4 connected to an external display. Unfortunately, the mouse cursor (from either magic keyboard trackpad or external mouse) is bounded to an area the size of the iPad on the external display. Switching between extending vs. mirroring the display does not resolve the issue. This issue does not exist in Moonlight when used in the same arrangements. I prefer to use Steam Link as it is able to pass microphone input to games. Fixing this issue would significantly improve the value of Steam Link, particularly since many users are migrating to a streaming approach given the recent improvements in the iPad Pro platform hardware.
I'm able to reproduce this, thanks!
