Steam Controller not recognized after pairing via Bluetooth
Don't have Steam on my Mac, but downloaded the Steam Link app from the App Store. Connected Steam controller to Mac via Bluetooth, but Steam Link doesn't recognize / cannot register it.

No, the Steam Link app simply doesn't support it at the moment. If you have Steam installed on your Mac, you can use that to do streaming from your other computer.

That's correct. You need to run Steam to use the Steam Controller on desktop.

Thanks for your response. So I understand that I also need to run Steam to use my Steam Controller on my Mac. I've installed it and the controller works within Steam. Are there further instructions I need to follow to have it be detected within the Steam Link app?

I see, the Steam Link app for Mac's UI currently provides a Steam Controller option when trying to pair a new controller, leading me to believe it was supported. This thread cleared things up for me, but hopefully support for it can be added in, or, to reduce confusion, the Steam Link app can be updated to remove it as an option when pairing new controllers.
