Good work.

Can someone explain the benefit of a dedicated Steam Link app over regular Steam on desktop OS?

1) its more lightweight than the full steam client
2) Given that steam itself is going to basically die on macs given Apple has given everyone the middle finger with the M1, this is probably the only way Mac people are ever going to be able to play any of their games in a few years once Rosetta2 dies

The main Steam client for MacOS is unstable on M1 devices, it has some sort of memory leak.

What do you think about the Big Sure? Will there be support for this version of the system and the M1 devices?

The Steam Link app is coming soon for Macs running macOS 10.13 and later.

This forum is a place where you can discuss and get help on issues relating to Steam Link on macOS.

How about i386 and/or x86_64 Linux?

Thanks

HI the steam link app is not working on my M1 MacBook. It prompts me to download drivers which then won't install. Is there a fix for this?
