Black screen with Mac M1 Steam Link and nVidia Shield
I just can't get Steam Link to work between my M1 MacBook Air and my nVidia Shield. I get a black screen with the overlay at the bottom of the screen with tips and a blue spinning indicator, but nothing else. However, the audio works as I can hear the item selection sound when moving the "cursor", but nothing shows on the screen. I've literally tried everything, can't get it to work properly. Can anyone offer some help?

I solved!!!

I don't know why but Steam.app didn't asked the permissions to share the screen.
I solved going to Apple menu > System Settings, then click Privacy & Security in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)

- Click Screen & System Audio Recording.
- Turn the Steam.app ability to record on.

If Steam.app is not listed add it clicking the Add button below the list, then navigate to the app you want to add.

After several days countless hours hundreds of videos and posts I found your solution. It took literally less than a minute. I'm sure your solution will help a lot of people.
