Great news but you are still not addressing what I would consider a major issue. Here is the email I sent to the email address no longer being monitored:

I have been trying to figure out for a while why Steam Link (app) has so many latency issues on my iMac and MBP. I originally thought it was my router (XT8) but it wasn’t. Without taking too much of your time and since it is not mentioned anywhere in your documentation:

In order to have proper and good network times on a Mac one needs to disable Location Services and Apple Wireless Direct Link (AWDL). Before doing so I could barely play anything at even 3Mbs and 720 res, but with the aforementioned disabled I can now play at 100Mbps and 3K res!

I consider this a major improvement and worth mentioning to your user base, especially considering that Steam Link opens up the Mac/Apple market to gaming.

1. Disable Location Services (all) during Steam Link via the Settings app.

2. Disable AWDL from the terminal via sudo ifconfig awdl0 down (re-enabe: sudo ifconfig awdl0 up)

Hi slouken, are you still working on this app? If so, I'm wondering whether it's a known issue that the host has to be on the same LAN, or if it's a bug or issue with my machine? I don't have this problem with the Steam Link app on Android.
