Hey Friends,

Since there isn't an intuitive way to launch the Steam Link app for Mac into window mode by default, I just wanted to quickly share a way to make this work for you.

Please note, this seems to crash at the start intermittently, so you may have to try a few times.


Step One: Make sure your Host computer has remote play enabled, and paired with your Mace (Settings > Remote Play)

Step Two: Hit "start streaming" to launch the options

Step 3: Change Mac workspaces by hitting control + up (you need it to show "Desktop 1", Desktop 2)


Step 3: in the top left corner of your Steam link workspace (note, the full workspace), you will see "><" icon instead of an X... Click that and choose the desktop you want to send it to.


Viola!

Steam link is now in Windowed mode!


If you use the Question mark icon in steam link, you can find the SteamLinkFeedback email (@valvesoftware.com) -- Be sure you send in your request to make Windowed mode more easily available and configured at stream launch!
