How it works
In Merchant Center, select YouTube affiliate from the left navigation menu. On the "Overview" tab, your program status will be indicated in the "Settings" card.
The status of your account will be one of the following:
- "Active" means that you’re fully onboarded onto the program and your products are available to tag by creators.
- "Inactive" means that your products aren’t fully active in the YouTube affiliate program. This is generally due to one of the following:
- You have set-up an account, but your products aren’t fully available to creators pending processing time. This status will automatically update when ready. If the issue persists, Contact us.
- There is a billing issue with your account. Contact your affiliate provider.
- You unlinked your third-party service that manages your program. Disconnecting your partner service pauses your affiliate contract immediately.
- "Unspecified" "means that your products aren’t active in the YouTube affiliate program. This status will automatically update when ready. If the issue persists, Contact us.
