My Admission Journey to Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences (AITS), Tirupati

I am G Dhilli Prasad, currently pursuing B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences (AITS), Tirupati. I would like to share my admission journey, the process I followed, and some useful tips for juniors.

1. Entrance & Eligibility

After completing my 12th grade, I explored different options for engineering admissions.

In Andhra Pradesh, admissions are mainly done through entrance exams like EAPCET (formerly EAMCET).

My Background:

Completed 12th with a decent percentage

Admission Path:

Through entrance exam counselling

The key factor is your rank in the entrance exam, which plays a major role in seat allotment.

2. Counselling Process

The counselling process was smooth and structured:

Registered for counselling through the official portal

Verified documents

Participated in web options (choice filling)

I carefully selected colleges based on:

Course (AI & Data Science)

College reputation

Location

Finally, I was allotted a seat in AITS, Tirupati.

3. Why I Chose AITS Tirupati

There were multiple reasons behind my decision:

  3. Choose your branch wisely based on interest
  4. During counselling, research colleges properly
  5. Start learning skills early (coding, communication, etc.)
