IIT Roorkee 2026 M.Tech Eligibility Criteria
- Four-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the relevant discipline .
- Minimum 60% marks or 6.00 CGPA (on 10-point scale).
- Minimum 2 years full-time work experience in a registered firm / company / industry / government / autonomous organisation (annual turnover > ₹5.0 crores for private firms).
- Same as full-time + organisation must be located in Roorkee or within 20 km radius; no age bar (preference below 45 years); must attend all classes and satisfy attendance requirements.
- GATE qualified candidates get preference, but GATE is not mandatory.
International candidates: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent meeting minimum qualifications.
