Wells Fargo Interview Experience 2025 | On-Campus | Full-Time

Last Updated : 6 Sep, 2024

Wells Fargo visited our college, offering an Analyst role for the batch of 2025.

Eligibility: 7.5 CGPA+

Branches: CS/ENTC

A total of 150 students were shortlisted for the Online Assessment Test.

Online Assessment: 7 August 2024

Platform: SHL Amcat

This section comprised four parts:

Verbal Assessment: 12 questions to be solved in 15 minutes. The questions were based on comprehension and filling in appropriate words in sentences, testing our English skills at a moderate level.

Business Interpretation: 15 questions to be solved in 25 minutes. These questions were based on various graphs and charts, including candlestick graphs, pie charts, and other business-related visuals. Candidates had to analyze the data carefully and answer accordingly.

Tip: Take time to analyze the data properly so you don't have to repeatedly check the graphs for every question. Revise basic formulas related to Venn diagrams, profit and loss, etc.

Coding: 2 coding questions to be solved in 40 minutes. The questions were different for everyone and were based on arrays and string manipulation. The difficulty level was easy to medium, and time was a crucial factor. I passed 12/12 test cases for the first question and 15/17 test cases for the second one.

One separate coding question (10 minutes): This was a logic and math-based question that didn’t require specific data structures. I passed 1/3 test cases.

Tip for the Online Assessment: You cannot move back and forth between questions, so plan accordingly. Time management is key—don’t spend too much time on a single question.

Out of 150 students, 15 were shortlisted for interviews.

Interview Round 2: Managerial

Duration: 45-50 minutes

The interviewer began by introducing himself and asked me to introduce myself. He then reviewed my resume and inquired about every project listed. He asked why I chose a particular tech stack, suggested edge cases, and tried to trick me with his questions to understand how I think. He then gave me 3 pattern-printing questions, followed by a discussion on my projects. He also asked a few technical questions, like the difference between SQL and NoSQL, and some HR questions, such as why I wanted to join Wells Fargo, my personality traits, and my future goals.

Unfortunately, I could not clear this round.

4 students were selected for HR round and all of them were given the final offer
