Technical Interview Round 1
I was the first one to go. Initially started with an introduction, then he moved through the resume. I had done a project on CNN, which the interviewer had good knowledge of. In-depth questions were asked on this part. Then there was so many questions from Python and various libraries involving Python. Then he moved to DSA. Questions were
i. To check if a string is a palindrome, he asked for 4 approaches however I could answer 3
ii. To find the longest palindrome in a string which was easy for me
Then he went for SQL queries, many tables were made and queries were told to be written. he wanted a different approach for each question. I would rate the SQL questions to be medium hard to hard.
Then there was a guesstimate question based on the number of people traveling in the Delhi metro at 9:00 AM. There were also many situational reaction-type questions. Some business-building-type questions were also asked. Monty Hall problem was asked as a puzzle.
The interview was almost 1 hr 15 min. I was having no hopes, However i was called for round 2.
Interview round 2
He initially started with HR related questions. Later stage he moved to some technical questions which was easy. 2 Guessestimates were given. One was to find number of planes departing from Trivandrum Airport and another one was to find volume of the chair which I was sitting in. I was able to answer everything however Interviewer was a bit arrogant.
So the list came that day itself. I was not selected. ZS usually conduct diversity hiring. Only 3 people were selected for my role of which 2 of them were girls. In the overall 9 selected 7 was girls
However it was a really nice interview experience :)
