Walt Disney's CINDERELLA takes a story everybody's familiar with and embellishes it with humor and suspense, while retaining the tale's essential charm. Disney's artists provide the film with an appealing storybook look that emanates delectable fairy tale atmosphere. It is beautifully, if conventionally, animated; the highlight being the captivating scene where the Fairy Godmother transforms a pum... read more

'Cinderella' is an old Disney classic! Based on the fairy tale of a girl whose parents die and is treated like a slave by her stepmother and ugly stepsisters who are very cruel! This movie is the same/same animation as most animated Disney classics. It's one of the oldest Disney classics and a good one! It does seem as if the mice have lots of screen-time compared to Cinderella and also it surpris... read more

No necesaria... read more

Description: Cinderella was Walt Disney's return to feature-length "story" cartoons after eight years of turning out episodic pastiches like Make Mine Music and Three Caballeros. A few understandable liberties are taken with the original Charles Perrault fairy tale so that it is family friendly. Not as momentous an animated achievement as, say, Snow White or Fantasia, Cinderella is a nonetheless delightful feature, enhanced immeasurably by the introduction of several "funny animal" characters (a Disney tradition that has held fast into the 1990s, as witness Pocahontas), and a host of a sprightly songs, including "Cin ... True Blue Femininity (31 art items)

"Cinderella's dress is blue mainly in stuff outside the movie. The dress was meant to be silver (although the glass slippers were blue tinted), but coloring issues made appear blue. Her nightgown was definitely blue. "
