She has covered the global game as a writer and broadcaster since 2013, most recently as a staff writer at Sportico. Pelit reported from the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, the 2016 Rio Olympics and four Copa América tournaments. She holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and was a 2020–21 Knight-Bagehot Fellow in Economics and Business Journalism.
