Jund al-Aqsa and the factions control the first line of defense of Qamhana and Missile Battalion near Maardis in Hama’s countryside

The violent clashes are still taking place in the northwestern countryside of Hama, where fighters of the rebel and Islamic factions, Jund al-Aqsa organization and Jaysh al-Nasr were able today to control the town of Maardis and the checkpoint of al-Kaziyyeh south of Maardis, and the checkpoint of the mills southwest of the town, and the Missile Battalion near the town, and expelled the regime forces out of them. Several reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian observatory for human rights that the Russian forces were preparing the Missile Battalion and fortifying it to be used as a military base in the area, where the fighters of the factions have seized several artilleries in addition to missiles, the importance of controlling Maardis comes because it put the factions closer to the city of Hama, also it is the first line of defense of Qamhana town which is one of the regime forces’ strongholds in the countryside of Hama, in addition to the presence of to barracks for the regime forces in the area.
