Malaysian commercial broadcaster Astro has secured Emirates FA Cup media rights in Malaysia and Brunei from 2024-25 to 2027-28. All FA Cup matches are covered on Astro’s linear and digital platforms. Subscribers can watch and stream matches after selecting the “Astro One Sports Pack” plan, which provides live coverage of games. All matches are shown in HD, with some select games available in 4K UHD.Streaming of matches is available using the Astro GO app, which is complimentary for subscribers. Fans in Malaysia can stream English FA Cup games live and on-demand on Astro GO simultaneously on up to two devices. However, if they wish to stream on more than two devices, the Astro GO+ service allows streaming on up to four devices simultaneously for an additional fee. Both streamers are compatible with Android and iOS mobiles and tablets, smart TVs (Android TV, LG, Samsung), and computers (PCs and Macs in web browsers).

Fans in Malaysia can watch 60 matches, either live or delayed, from the AFC Champions League each season through Astro Sports.The pay-TV broadcaster shows the biggest matches from the competition each game week across its string of linear TV channels and its app, Astro Go. The app can be downloaded for free onto iOS and Android devices, but users will need an active subscription to access live content from the AFC Champions League.
AFC Champions League coverage on Astro Sports is included in their sports pack. This can be purchased on either a monthly or annual basis.

Astro Supersport HD is a Malaysian television channels owned and operated by Astro. This English-spoken channel was launched in 1996 as part of Astro’s original channels.
Over the years, Astro Supersport HD has been known for airing sports disciplines such as football, hockey, diving, cycling, wrestling, athletics, and other special events. Most of the content aired on this network has had to do with international competitions, although local tournaments may also be available on this channel.
Speaking about football, Astro Supersport HD has covered competitions such as the Bundesliga, the English Premier League, the Eredivisie, the Primeira Liga, the J-League, the K-League, and domestic tournaments such as the Liga Super Malaysia. Cup competitions such as the FA Cup, the DFB-Pokal, the FA Community Shield, and the DFL Super Cup have also been aired on this channel.
Football coverage on Astro Supersport HD has also included national team football, with FIFA World Cup, FIFA Women’s World Cup, and age-limit tournaments such as the FIFA U-20 World Cup have also been included in the channel’s grid. Astro Supersport HD was launched as a Standard Definition channel, but a High-Definition feed saw the light on December 11, 2009. Both feeds may still be available to watch in most of the country’s territory.
