In Norway, TV 2 shares the overall rights with NRK, which carries the free-to-air portion of the tournament.

Football fans in Norway can watch all games from the UEFA Nations League exclusively live on TV2 Norway. The subscription-based platform has the rights to all Nations League matches until the end of the 2027-28 season. Nations League matches are shown across TV2’s linear channels and the TV2 Play app and website.

TV2 holds the joint broadcast rights to the Women's Champions League in Norway, sharing coverage with NRK. At least one match from the tournament is shown every game week on TV2, but if any Norwegian teams are involved, then more are shown. On top of these regular matches, TV2 also has the rights to show one of the semi-finals and the final at the end of each campaign.

2023-2028

TV2 has secured domestic TV and digital rights to Norway’s third football division. The broadcaster will show 2. divisjon matches live on television and online from 2023 till 2028, following a massive six-season deal reported to be worth half a billion dollars.

Norway - Eliteserien

2023-2028

TV 2 is the official broadcaster of the Eliteserien in Norway for the 2023 to 2028 seasons, replacing Discovery after initially acquiring the rights in 2022 through a distribution deal. Thanks to this agreement, fans in Norway can watch select live Eliteserien games on TV on the TV 2 Sport channels, specifically TV 2 Sport 1 and TV 2 Direkte.

Norway - OBOS-ligaen

2023-2028

TV2 has acquired domestic TV and digital rights to the Norwegian First Division, in a deal that will run from 2023 to 2028. The six-season agreement was part of a major decision to cover Norway’s men and women’s domestic football action on television and through digital platforms. TV2 will telecast live First Division matches, while also providing streams online.

Toppserien matches broadcast live on TV2 in Norway under a multi-year domestic rights agreement running from 2023-28. The multi-platform deal was concluded through Fotball Media and grants TV2 primary rights to live Toppserien coverage. One Toppserien match per round airs live on TV2's linear channel, while remaining fixtures stream live on TV2 Play.

TV2 Norway is a Norwegian television channel owned and operated by the Egmont Group. This channel was launched on November 13, 1991 as a test channel, but it would officially be launched on September 5, 1992 to become the first free-to-air channel in this country. 

Over the years, TV2 Norway has been categorized as a general information channel, with news, sports, entertainment, children’s programming, TV series, movies, and magazine shows being available on its programming. Just like in most Scandinavian countries, all foreign-language shows have been provided with Norwegian subtitles, with the only exception being children’s programming.

When it comes to sports, TV2 Norway has covered a wide range of disciplines, which have included football, handball, and Winter Olympics. Some of the most watched shows in this channel’s history have had something to do with sports, including UEFA Euro games and FIFA World Cup Qualifying matches. 

Speaking about football, TV2 Norway has been able to cover major tournaments such as FIFA World Cup Qualification games, UEFA Euro qualifying matches, friendly matches featuring the Norwegian National Football teams, and domestic leagues such as the Premier League, the Serie A, or the Allsvenskan. Coverage of those leagues may be shared with TV2 Sport’s channels, two sister networks that also belong to the same group.

TV2 Norway was launched as a Standard Definition channel, but a High-Definition feed saw the light on June 25, 2009. Both feeds may still be available for users to watch via pay-tv carriers across the country. Added to its availability in Norway, the channel may also be watched in Sweden via select pay-tv services.
