Live EPL streaming will be available on Viaplay – the leading online video streaming service in the Nordic region. Live Premier League matches and full replays may also be aired on NENT’s pay-TV and free-TV channels.

Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT Group) has acquired multi-platform English Premier League rights in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, in a deal that runs from 2022 to 2028. Live EPL streaming will be available on Viaplay – the leading online video streaming service in the Nordic region. Live Premier League matches and full replays may also be aired on NENT’s pay-TV and free-TV channels. The deal marks the first broadcast rights agreement for the Premier League’s cycle starting with the 2022-2023 season, and it also marks the first time a European broadcaster has secured EPL rights for a six-year period.

Germany - Bundesliga

2025-2029

Fans in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden can watch live Bundesliga matches on Viaplay for the 2025-26 to 2028-29 seasons. This comes courtesy of the NENT Group-owned streaming platform’s two-cycle deal with the Bundesliga covering 2021-2029. While this arrangement initially included Poland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, Viaplay decided to exit those markets by mid-2025.

France - Ligue 1

Ligue 1 fans in the Nordic region (Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark) and the Netherlands can watch the French top-flight exclusively on Viaplay from the second half of the 2024-25 season through 2028-29. Elisa Viihde Viaplay is a video-on-demand streaming service owned and operated by the Swedish Company MTG. The service was launched in 2007 under the name Viasat OnDemand, but that name would change to Viaplay in 2011. The service would undergo one more rebranding in Finland when Viaplay merged with Finnish company Elisa Viihde Aitio in 2020, changing the platform’s name to Elisa Viihde Viaplay.
