Magic the Gathering GP KL 2010

Over the pass weekend I signed up for the Magic the Gathering Grand Prix with my friends. It was held at Mid Valley and it was an international event so players of Magic from all over the world came to participate. Being new to Magic, I just join for fun and to gain some experience. I didn't really expect much, in fact I expected to lose all my games. Why? Well, I just started Magic not too long ago and the deck I used was constructed like 2 days before the event. What are the odds of me winning? Lol. But in the end, I think I didn't do to badly. I lost 5 games and won 3 of them, of the 2 wins my opponents were a no show. I got lucky I guess. Overall I had a great time and enjoyed myself.

"Siu Wan Teng" or Ampang Lookout Point ???

Today my friend called me and asked if I wanna follow her up to Ampang "Siu Wan Teng". Since I never been there before and I'm bored staying at home I thought why not? I heard there's this great view of the whole of KL so I thought I go check it out.

We got lost along the way, bump here bump there and after like 1 hour we finally made it there. It's actually quite simply to get there but since it was our first time we got a bit lost along the way making loads of U-turns and detours. Another reason we got lost was cause we thought sie wan teng and lookout point was 2 entirely different places.

Once up there, you can see the great view of whole of KL. (Sorry about the lousy pics)



It's nice to just kick back, enjoy the view, feel the cool air and have a good chat. The food there sucks max. We ate at Bread and Olives cafe. The pasta I had was like 80% cheese, 15% mushroom and 5% burnt pasta. Not only is it super lousy it's expensive. RM23 for some burnt pasta shit. The fancy named drinks are also not that good. I ordered some lemon mint drink but it tasted like sour green apple to me. Ughh~ Rubbish drink for RM9.

It's more worth it to just go up sit back, relax and have a coke but it's not worth it at all if you're going for the food.

Ah Weng Vs the Cockroach

Today after a hard work out session, I came home and took my shower. When I was taking my shower, I was reaching for my hair shampoo when suddenly a large ass cockroach crawled up from behind the shampoo bottle to greet me. Stunned, I took a step back and shouted to my bro, "Bring me some newspaper!!! There's fucking huge ass cockroach in the toilet and I want to smash the living shit outta it!!!" Upon saying that, I think the bugger actually understood me cos the next thing I knew, the ccb cockroach actually flew straight for my head!!! In one quick movement like in the kung-fu movies, I ducked and side stepped the on-coming missile, grabbed the hair shampoo bottle that the cockroach was standing on earlier, turned 180 degrees and smashed the living shit outta the cockroach as it landed on the door behind me.Victory was mine to savor. MUAHAHA!

Brand New Shoes~ Woohoo~~

My mum came back from Australia last Monday and before she went, she asked if I wanted her to buy any shoes for me cos apparently it's much cheaper there. Naturally, no fool is goona say NO. When she got back she told me she bought me a pair of sneakers but the pair for my bro didn't fit him cos it was too big for him so I was told to take them, YES LA~! That's how I ended with 2 brand new shoes.







As for life...

Currently working at Fitness First in the Subang Branch in the call center department. So far, they just paying me to goyang kaki. Seriously, I'm suppose to answer calls about the new upcoming gym but there's no work if there's no calls in the first place! LOL!!! Life's good. Some more I get to use the gym for free. Sitting there in the office counting my chicks before they hatch. First thing I'm gonna buy when I get my pay check is an Arsenal jersey. Oh yea~

First day of training at Fitness First

Today was my first day of training at Fitness First. A friend of mine intro this job working at their call center. I was told to be there by 9 and so I set my alarm clock to wake me up at 7.30am and guess what... That's right my alarm didn't go off. My dad came into my room and kicked me outta bed at round 8.15am telling me off as he did. "Play your computer till so late. You're working la not playing around. Faster get ready la!"

Anyways, took a quick shower when suddenly I felt a painful blow in my stomach... Guess last night's fried sambal sotong and daging special didn't go too well inside my stomach. Tasted damn fucking good though... Spent roughly another 15 minutes wasted sitting on the toilet bowl until dad shouted it was time to go. NO FUCK, PAIN ALSO MUST MOVE OUT D.... LAN JIAO... Thought to myself I continue my business at the office.

Got into the car with a piece of bread in my mouth and prayed hard there won't be any jam. Not even 2 minutes before I left my house I saw this huge wave of cars as far as the eyes can see. GREAT... JUST GREAT... stomach some more "gao yea".

Somehow managed to reach Menara Manulife at 8.55 (miracles happens) and rushed up into the office. Upon arrival, the receptionist looked at me and I told her I was here for training today. She gave me a blank look.
"What training?"
"Err... training for the call center?"
"Call center?? I sitting here is call center la..."
OH FUCK... Luckily at that moment, a lady came in and the reception told her about me and she immediately knew who I was. "Ohhh... you are that call center...." She told me to take a seat and went to her desk. She came back with my contract and EPF form. "Here's your contract and fill up this EPF for if you dun have one. I'll get back to you when you are done reading". Found out that this malay guy was also new and he will be doing the training with me.

Once done with all the paper work, I was finally introduced to my trainer. He's this gui low by the name of Hylton. At first, I was damn stiff upon meeting him, but he told me to just relax and chill. He's a cool guy and sure knows how to relax someone just by talking. He even brought in a sub woofer and starting playing music just to relax us new guys. No wonder he's in the sales industry. After some brief introduction, he began briefing us about what is Fitness First and told us what our jobs will be. An hour later he gave us a break. I like this guy's style. Damn relax.

After lunch, he showed us around the gym and explained about the different sections and FAQs we might get from the callers. As we reach the bathroom, he wanted to show us the toilets when I found out that the malay dude was actually a girl... FUCKING HELL! Short hair, flat chest, wore same type of slacks as me, had shades on, smokes... What is this world coming too!!!

Anyways, we went back to the office and did some role plays scenario when a person would call up and was dismissed early at 4 instead of 6. Super happy. Maybe this job isn't so bad after all.

On the way out, saw this lady with a super hot body walking out from the coffee area. My god her ass is SUPER! Her skirt can hardly contain them cos they are so big! Wanted ask if she worked and toned her ass out everyday after work in the gym till that perfection. Face also not bad looking. As she walked by she smiled at me some more. Happy~ Only problem is dunno she how old only... Later she 40++ and married... FML... But she sure doesn't look that old... to me only like 26 at most. Should investigate tomorrow.

So that's my first day of work. What a day. Super tired now. BED... where's my bed...

M A L A C C A T R I P ~ ~

On Sunday I joined my friends for a one day eating trip to Malacca. Left the house at 9 too meet up with them, had breakfast at the mamak nearby my house. We hit the road at roughly 10am and was immediately lost as we couldn't find the road leading to the KL-Seremban highway. We ended up detouring to Kajang... After the detour, by following the road signs we managed to make our way on to the highway and arrived at Malacca at roughly 12pm.

Once there, we headed straight for the famous Chicken Ball Rice. It was my first time queuing up for chicken rice... The rice balls was very tasty and very smooth compared to normal rice but as for the chicken, it was very normal to me.



After the chicken ball rice, some of them was already full so we decided to walk around Jonker Street and did some exploring. So the bunch of monkeys went down Jonker Street making jokes at anything we can possibility think of and basically laugh down that particular street.




On the way, we stop by for some Asam Laksa and Cendol. The Asam Laksa soup wasn't very sour and abit more spicy than normal but it was still addicting good once drank. The cendol had gula melaka which made it too sweet too take.



When we where done eating, we headed for Afamosa for sight seeing as one of us haven't been to Malacca before. After our history lesson, it was back to Jonker Street for their pasar malam. Basically sold the same stuff but had more food. Do not know where it was due to all that walking to Afamosa but the fired radish cake was damn good.



Our last stop was some seafood stall by the roadside. A seafood war happened when one of them accidental splashed 'see ham' juice on another fellow. Fun to see juices of raw seafood flying everywhere, and you have to duck and react when it comes flying for you.



That's basically our Malacca trip. Had some good fun and good food. Worth going back again. =)

Happy Happy Day

Happy Happy Day today! Why leh?

First, my mum decided to shift the Hi-Fi from the living room to my room. MUAHAHA!!!
Taylor Swift and Yui playing in my room 247 since this morning.

Damn nice to relax. With the Hi-Fi next to my bed. Song ah~ Laid there the whole day. xD

Dinner when to TGI Fridays makan. Ordered the set meal. Had Fried Mac & Cheese and Friday's Cheeseburger. DAMN GOOD. After makan only remembered wanted to take photo. Too bad.

Came home watch Man United vs Liverpool. Man U LOST!!! WOOT!!! DAMN DAMN HAPPY!!! Now if Arsenal wins West Ham, my day is complete. COME ON ARSENAL!
