March- Comes in like a lion, goes out like a lamb!

So March is by far my favorite month. With regards to the title of this post, it has snowed twice in March, but I according to the saying, it will warm up in a couple of weeks! Here are a couple of reasons why I love the month of March. First of all, on March 16th I will be turning 21! Finally an adult. One implication to turning 21 is that I have to renew my driver's license :( 25 bucks down the drain, but I do have a couple speeding tickets so it'll be good to get those erased!! The second great thing about March is Spring Break!! I have it from March 20th to March 29th; which brings me to the third, but by far the best thing about March. On March 29th Andrew and I will be celebrating our 1 year anniversary. We thought about eating the top layer of our wedding cake, but then remembered we can't because Dad Linde threw it away because he didn't know of its significance. Oh well, that one little bite on our wedding day was all we needed ;) So what we are planning to do is go up to the Ainsworth Hot Springs in Canada (only about a 4-hr drive) and spending the night there at that resort. I have uploaded a picture of the place. Andrew's parents recently went there and said it was beautiful, so we thought we'd give it a shot.

Track at Eastern Washington University

So here are a couple videos and pics of my indoor track season. I do the 60M hurdles indoors, the 100M hurdles outdoors and the triple jump all-year round. This past weekend I competed at the Big Sky Conference Indoor Championships. I had a really good time. Andrew came down with me and we got to hang out and have a little vacation. I'm in lane 5 (the person that wins!). That was one of my best races of the season. I started the indoor season running a 9.96 60M hurdle race and finished it running a 9.02, which placed me as the 3rd fastest hurdler in EWU's history. I was one-hundredth of a second off tying for second fastest. I started the year triple- jumping a 33'6" and my last jump of the indoor season was a 35'11.5. That jump placed me as 10th all-time best triple jumper at Eastern. I'm looking forward to improving my marks in the outdoor season. Our firsst outdoor meet is March 21st, so it's coming up fast.
